Amazing food and amazing people! Silvia made us feel like family and fed us well. Don't bother with the menu! Show up and trust her. Everything was perfect. Szeretem minden!
Celebrated our the college graduation of our oldest with family.Food was excellent. We were a party if 7 with choices from all over the menu. Was told it would take a little more time because all food is made to order. Bread, salad, and meals were excellent. Everyone left stuffed and with leftovers for a few more meals. It was a nice relaxing evening. But then, we've never had a bad meal at Sylvia's. We went years ago when the kids were younger. They ordered chicken nuggets and fries. They food came to the table. Both kids looked at their plates with wide eyes as the quantify was huge. The best compliment they should have given was when Sylvia asked the kids if they wanted ketchup&up the oldest replied tjis is to good to use ketchup! Need to go more often.
Disappointed - Mother’s Day Buffet No atmosphere A lot of food on buffet - but put labels on the food - food was cold Do not go around with a picture of wine and top off wine glass and charge for a second glass of wine Re: the bill - do a breakdown of meal, bar, tax and gratuity - not just a total of $99.50 and always give the customer a copy of the receipt. Will not be back there ever again
Just had a great meal, great service, lovely little cafe, fresh cooked meals. Bread, salad and soup was fantastic. Generous servings and deserts. Will be back
Silvia is like family. Love her and love her food. Don't go in thinking you are going to get a fast food atmosphere. It is much more a European experience and you are not getting out quickly. The food is fresh and amazing. Pictures are from a celebration and though she didn't know that there was a birthday until we came in she presented him with a gorgeous and delicious tirimisu cake! I have also been to a wedding where Silvia catered and the wedding cake never showed up but Silvia brought out a gorgeous and yummy cake big enough for the whole crowd and saved the day. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO SILVIA!
We had a wonderful lunch at Silvia’s. We were greeted with the smell of freshly baked bread as we walked in the door. Silvia took wonderful care of us. We enjoyed a homemade German soup made with fresh herbs, a large salad with a house made vinaigrette, and a large Turkey grinder. Everything was delicious! We even took a loaf of bread to take home with us. We would return in a heartbeat to enjoy more things from the menu.
All of the staff was very attentive, the menu was varied so anybody could find something they liked, and the portions were huge. We started with a huge warm raisen bread followed by a delicious soup served family style with enough for seconds, followed by dinners served on platters. None of us could eat even half of what we were served. This is our new go to place.
I’ve been going to Silvia’s for years. If you know, you know. The food is always coming. Drinks never stop!! Silvia always takes care of you like your family.I couldn’t begin to say enough good things.If you check it out once. It will always be your special spot
