I chose to go to Moe's for lunch since I had some reward points to use. I got 2 bowls which were both the same; adobo chicken, seasoned rice, black beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cilantro, grilled peppers and pico de gallo. The first disappointment was that I had wanted tofu but they didn't have any. Then I was informed that they no longer served cucumber as a topping. I felt like the server was being a bit stingy with the portions. I took these bowls to go. When I went to have lunch I found that the bowls were very very salty. I'm not sure which ingredient contributed to this. The rice was also not cooked fully as it still had a crunchy texture. It made for a very awful lunch. This is not the first time I have had issues at this location. The first time I tried to go here for dinner, there was a sign that said they could not serve bowls or tacos. I usually go to the location in Vernon CT, in which I have never had any problems.
First time at a Moe's. It's fast serve Mexican style food. Burritos and Tacos along with a few other items. Select your shell, add chicken, beef or a few other choices. Add rice, beans, tomato, etc. Quite a few choices. Hot ones also like jalapeno peppers. Choice of sauces. Wrap it up and we are ready to go. A bag of chips adds to the experience. It was a good visit for the first time.
Went to this location, it was pretty dead when I got there. The female employee who had a ripped shirt who made my burrito was miserable, rude and quite frankly didn’t want to deal with a very simple order. Forgot the queso on the side and was given a hard time for asking, but fortunately the manager told the employee that I bought it with the meal. Too bad to see this location like this, it used to be so good and so fun
Great place to stop on the way home from Six Flags! Better food than in the park and cheaper too! My kids love the chips and queso as well as the fresh food and salsa.
Three other people in the store. At least 5 employees was waiting for 7 mins before they greeted me. Waited 13 mins for the order and left without it waste of time and money:
Edit: Went back, line took 20+ minutes, the staff was only doing online orders while the in house line was waiting without acknowledgement. Wrong priorities.Amazing service, and the restaurant is clean. I'm impressed, I assumed this was just another chain and an pleasantly surprised.
In one word- "WORST" experience. This is the feeling when you don't get your food aven after ordering online 40 mins before. I was waiting for 40 mins there..still didn't get the good & had to leave without the food.
Ordered the food online but when visited the restaurant they had no clue, the response was ' ohhh yeah ...your order ..let me check...its not ready yet , sorry !!! could you wait for couple of minutes more' and the the wait time became 30 extra minutes...eventually came back & didnt get the food, god knows when they would,'ve delivered.
The line was out the door. They only had 1 person taking and preparing orders for the entire time I was in line while 3 of them worked on online orders. Once the line was out the door they should have moved at least 1 to help with orders of people standing in front of them. We stood in line for 50 minutes. Will not return here.
Figured I would give Moe’s a try again after I got very sick years ago. Not much has changed except I didn’t get sick this time. The food is average at best. The bowl I got was decent but the chips were stale. Save your money and go to Chipotle!
