I wanted to try this place out, so I got a meatball calzone because it’s a simple food that can make or break a place.It was amazing. The dough was a bit crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I loved the crunchy, melty cheese on top. It had the perfect ratio of ricotta/mozz/meatball/dough. It was pretty big (the picture is of half) and easily two meals. It probably took up over half of a small pizza box.They have online ordering and take Apple Pay, which are both big pluses.I will DEFINITELY be going back to get this on a regular basis.
Very clean, housewarming vibe, very nice fine dining style seating. The pizza was great! And, I'm from New Haven! Reminds me of Kimberly Pizza. Will be spreading the word.
Our waitress Megan was fantastic. She was quick with everything!!
I found a gem.. I admit I only have one visit to go by (so far). Out of a plentiful menu I went with a simple sausage grinder for my lunch. Wow, lots of sausage and cheese (A+ on the taste). I sat on their side deck on a cold day and it was wonderful, especially with the string of lights adding ambiance. The server bravely faced the cold and was so pleasant and efficient. I will return, maybe take out next.
We had a great lunch of stuffed shells, garlic bread, salad and a customized Reuben.Service was great and the food was delicious.Prices were good too.
First time going. Definitely will be back. The cauliflower pizza crust by far the best I've had. All the food that passed up looked really good. The portions and pricing definitely worth it
As a local business owner that frequents Anthony's Restaurant, I've yet to have a less than great experience. Many locals truly appreciate the quality the owner puts into his authentic dishes. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.
Dined in, and had an amazing Huge cheeseburger grinder that had amazing fresh bread. Waiter was very friendly and service was prompt. Very impressed, and can't wait to try their pizza.
Amazing pizza!!! We loved it & will be back soon. Staff was nice but with the high backed booths it's hard to flag down a waitress when u need something.
Quite a surprise oh, we weren't expecting much just figured we'd stop in and grab something to eat. It was extremely good.
