We had such a wonderful experience this evening while stopping off for dinner! We work over the road with our entire family (us and our 4 kids) and was passing through Danbury and decided to stop here. We had the pleasure of having “Tyler” as our waiter and with all honesty, he was THE BEST waiter we’ve ever come across. You see, our oldest son has some minor learning disabilities and it takes him a little longer to process things so every time we go out, it makes us a little nervous to see how the waiters would react when time came to taking his order. Tyler made my eyes watered and as a mother, I could not thank his parents enough for raising such a fine young man. Instead of making my son or any of us feel awkward as most waiters would do, he patiently showed my son where the sides were and read through each one and kindly explained what it was when he saw that my son looked lost. Aside from that, he treated each and every one of us with much respect and kindness, something that we rarely get nowadays. Texas Roadhouse, your food is delicious and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it but TYLER was definitely the highlight of our evening! And Tyler, if this review makes it to you and you’re reading this right now, we just want you to know that for as long as your heart stays genuine the way it is now, YOU will go far in life and opportunities will await you, son… I promise you that… Thank you for the memorable experience!
Tyler Is the best. I have been out on the road for over 20 years now. He sets the bar very high. I hope Texas Road house knows how good he is. They need to give this guy a big raise or promotion. The food was good as well. Steak was little over cooked but still good. I do hope I hear back from Texas Road house that they at lease did something nice for the guy. I will b stopping again. I will only request for him if he is working.
I literally had one of the best 12 oz NY Strip steaks in my life. I asked that it was to be cooked medium reare. It was cooked to perfection. Shout out to the manager Ben. I was dining alone and he took time out to make sure I was okay during a fairly busy dinner rush. You don't have to pay $100 to get a really good steak here.
Michaela was my server and she was excellent.. a real pro, always on point with a smile. She will be my waitress from now on. Steak was perfect. Not a big fan of chains, but this was surprise. Nice job.
Great place, service, prices and food. We avoid red meat, therefore we always order Herb Crusted Chicken. It is always outstanding. You get it with two sides and it costs around 15$. We had mashed potatoes and seasoned rice - both really nice and good quantity.Family friendly place. Beers available at a great price. Starters are good as well.Oh and they serve amazing hot bread rolls or dinner buns with cinnamon butter as a complimentary welcome appetizer. Yummmm!!!We have also tried their steaks and pork - they are good as well.
Great food, service and price!. My family's absolute favorite. I love the snake eyes, wings and steak tips. Everyone at this particular roadhouse is super friendly and attentive. Can't go wrong eating here.
Great food and fine service
Been here many times since they opened in Danbury. Service is usually great, there have been times where we've felt neglected, sitting waiting to pay the check to leave, the new pay at the table machines took care of that issue. It's not often we have issues with the food but when we do, they always rectify the problem, often taking the item off the check. Margaritas are amazing too.
Horrible experience! Went here to celebrate a birthday, called ahead and they said no reservations. Arrived early to make sure we got a good seat and got put in a booth with an extra table on the end in the aisle . Service was rude seemed like nobody cared about anything. Steak was cooked well done two times when asked for medium. They also need much better seating accommodations!! Don’t recommend.
Food was great, staff was friendly and accommodating over the phone and during curbside pickup. Location is convenient foe us and so was ordering and oicking it up. Love their music and veteran's parking ?.
