The Barman/Server, was excellent. Extremely impressive. The food was also great. I am a frequent customer.
This was a fantastic experience! The hostess was welcoming, the server was prompt and friendly. The service was elevated and Santiago anticipated each course. I had the Berkshire pork chop and was one of the most well prepared Berkshire pork I've eaten. Great experience. I do wish the wine had been at a proper temperature, as the selection was well cultivated, but warm.
It was a lunch date with a coworker and we had a wonderful time dining on the front outside patio. Even though it’s right next to the parking lot, it was very pleasant. The phone was delicious, our server was wonderful, and we will definitely return. It’s not my first time here – I come every once in a while for a visit
I will go back just for the Brussels sprouts. Charred outside, still crisp inside. The only restaurant in the area that prepares them perfectly. Good service and food. Worth prices that are higher than average to avoid mushy sprouts.
Lobster ravioli was pretty short of lobster and the pea pods on the dish were hard and undercooked. The steak sandwich was skimpy. Update: Since my review the restaurant manager contacted me and set things right with a credit to my Visa card. It’s nice that the restaurant stands behind the quality of their menu items.
While I had a couple of issues with the meal that day (see original message below), the management was super responsive to my contact. All has been resolved to my satisfaction. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant as all the other meals we have had there were truly outstanding! ORIGINAL: Some friends, my husband & I ate at your Danbury establishment yesterday. We have eaten there many times before and have always enjoyed the food. Yesterday we didn’t care for our meals, at all. My lobster ravioli was skimpily filled, but the worst part of the dish was the “English Peas” which were tough and inedible. These are peas which are meant to be shelled with the tough pod discarded, but instead they were covered with sauce and placed over the rest of the ingredients. Was I supposed to shell the messy peas myself? There was also no gremolata on my plate, as described in the menu. My husband’s filet mignon sandwich was skimpy, not stuffed as a hero ought to be. It was very disappointing especially as we had recommended your restaurant to our friends.
Great nachos. Always inventive menu and fun cocktails
Good food great service and welcoming staff. Def recommend!
Dinner was amazing! I had the farm to market board appetizer with Brussels sprouts, prosciutto, burrata & fig jam, then the short rib risotto. Portions were huge, everything was absolutely flawless. This has become my new favorite restaurant!
The Fish tacos were the best I've ever had! Good wine selection
