Trying several Chinese takeout in the area. I gave Jeffrey’s a shot based upon other’s reviews. Wish I hadn’t. I ordered General Tsao Shrimp, one of my favorite dishes. While the shrimps were large, it was way over breaded and way over cooked to the point where the food was hard. Needless to say, I will not be back.
The lady that takes the orders is very nice and the food was ready surprisingly quickly!I ordered vegetable lo mein with extra vegetables, shrimp lo mein and a spring roll.Upon ordering I was informed that it will cost $2.50 extra for additional vegetables and needless to say, I didn't mind that.Once home, I found only lettuce/cabbage like vegetables in my lo mein...the lo mein tasted as if they where reheated...shrimp where fine...spring roll tiny...I am not a picky eater but didn't end up eating anything but the shrimp and the tiny spring roll...it was disappointing since I used to love Jeffrey's food!
Best hot sour soup in town!!!Jeffries is the only Chinese restaurant I will go to everything is good coming out of their kitchen!!!
I’ve been here but several times because it isn’t along my “beaten path”. But based on several reviews, I chose to try them out and find myself returning when the opportunity presents itself. My experiences have been nothing but pleasant and the food is quite good. I will continue to order take out whenever I allow myself cheat meals.I sat in my car outside while waiting for my order. Much to my surprise, they brought my dinner out to my car when it was ready! It’s the little things that separate one establishment from the others. I appreciate the extra mile.
Just got general tsos and pork fried rice .Took 1 bite left opened plate at door step.Gross
The best Chinese food in town. The General Tso Chicken is good. The soup is what I like. I love this place !
Really good, pretty much my go to when we order out. Great vegetarian options ⭐ I believe this is a family owned/run restaurant and the food reflects family recipes. They are always so kind when we pick up, and thoughtful with kicking in extra. I've been sick this week and when my soup was delivered today I noticed they threw in an extra container of broth and I found that to be such and endearing gesture. Proud to support this business and this family

I have eaten at Jeffrey’s for years when I lived up the street and always looked forward to being in the area to get it again. I ate there yesterday and was disgusted. The chicken was horrendous, if you want to call it chicken. It was basically gross batter with possibly some chicken pieces here and there. All 3 of us got sick, the pork fried rice was also gross. I pray this is new ownership. DO NOT EAT HERE.
They have a wide selection of food items on their menu.We ordered online and it took about 20 minutes for it to be ready. Everything was there and nothing was missing. The food was good.
