Nice Portuguese restaurant in danbury
Easy place to spot, looks a lot like a sports club but that’s normal for Portuguese restaurants. Not all the waitresses spoke English but I’m Spanish so we understood each other. The food is awesome, I had the steak with shrimp on a garlic sauce comes with rice, fries and fried egg ?? descent prices, just know that in CT if you spend more than $100 tip automatically is included so look at your check before adding and signing. The only bad thing that I experience was at the entrance, there was a huge garbage bag and well smell really awful so that was the only negative thing, you had to go thru that to get in as it was in the front door. Other than that I would totally come back ??
Portuguese food is one of my favorites, you will never be disappointed in a Portuguese restaurant,they are specialists !!!
I come here when I can cause it WAS GOOD..... today the meat was raw, the beer was flat, and the service a disgrace. To one of my favorite places to come, today was very upsetting and very unpleasant.... we won't be coming back again until the chef and service is different.
