This is the best cheese pizza I've ever had. The crust is chewy and not too thick. It has a lot of cheese, but not too much and not greesy at all. It's been very consistent and it's even better than it was in the past. I also dipped it in some sweet marinara sauce and it was one of the best eating experiences I've had in a long time. Will continue ordering this for my cheat day..
The food is excellent one of the best brick oven pizzas I've ever encountered, grinders are excellent nicely toasted and their salads are to die for
The plain cheese pizza is one of the best I've ever had. It is better than it was a few years ago and even then it was good. It has been consistent as well.
Unfortunately this place has terrible customer service and inconsistent pizza quality. You're better off going to domino's. At least they will listen to your complaint, if you have one. These people(genaro pizza) deny it, call you to upset you by telling you that the pizza is right and you are wrong. I'm good, I just want a nice simple well cooked pizza. No toppings!
San Gennaro’s pizza is by far the best in Bristol. Good when gotten for takeout, but even better eating in! Very accommodating and attentive dine-in service. Will definitely be coming back!
The pizza would be better if it actually tasted like it came out of a wood fire brick oven like they claim. The crust is always soggy lately which ruins the pizza in my opinion. I wish they would fix this or not advertise this way. They really have potential if they would fix the soggy crust.
Ordered via a delivery app and while that experience was great I thought it was only fair to also review the food directly. Items were ready early and arrived hot - the bag was carefully packed so nothing leaked, which I really appreciated, and closed nicely with a menu stapled to it. They clearly put a little effort into their presentation, even with a third-party app, which is rare. I found the penne a la vodka needed a bit of pepper but that is personal preference - the sauce was smooth and not grainy as it can get on a takeout dish after sitting. My side salad was fresh and crisp and fried mozzarella was deep golden brown - not just tossed into the fryer and pulled quickly. I would definitely order from them again and again!
We decided to give San Gennaro’s a try tonight for pizza. (We have had such a hard time finding a good pizza place in Bristol since moving here about a year and a half ago!) We ordered a small cheese, large Buffalo chicken, large pizza with cheese, arugula and prosciutto, chicken tenders with fries, cannolis and tiramisu. I have to say besides being a little on the greasy side we really enjoyed our pizza, the crust was soft but crunchy which I love! The cannolis were average, but still good! The chicken tenders and fries were good as well for the kids. But their Tiramisu was to die for and they gave decent size pieces! It was super creamy and the espresso soaked bottom was on point! I’m not sure how they make it or if they order it from an outside distributor, regardless it was awesome! We would definitely order from them again! Oh and delivery was super fast as well! 4 stars if it was less greasy I would definitely give them 5 but it is still one of our favorite places and we only have 2 other places we have found to like around here!
Excellent boneless wings and fresh ingredients on the pizza! Also, exceptional customer service!! I used Uber Eats for my order, but he forgot the pizza. San Gennaro was kind enough to drive to Unionville to bring me my pizza.
I’m a CNA that has little time to eat while taking care of my residents so I order 12 garlic parm wings to eat when I got home at 11 pm and a tuna salad, thinking I could take a bite here and there while I had a few minutes between my tasks, since I could eat it cold. Everything was perfect till I got home and open the wings, you could smell they were burnt. Sure enough when I saw them the edges were black! And the taste of burnt charcoal was mix in to the sauce. Very disappointed!!! Lesson learned!!!!
