Burger and shake was excellent
This has to be the absolute slowest food service I have ever had. The entire line was complaining. The party in front of me, myself, and party behind me waited 2 hours for our food. The kid didn't know who's food belonged to whom. He had to keep opening each package one by one until he figured what order belonged to whom, and nobody could even move with a sense of urgency while they did anything.Me and the fellow customers who were part of the original line waited in the blistering sun for over 2 hours altogether to get some burgers, chicken tenders, and fries. It ruined my whole trip at the park. Next time I go, I'll just get pizza or hotdogs at one of the other shops.Worst wait I ever had. Somebody needs to step in and do something about that service, it is not OK.
I didn't like it, it took about 1 hour for me to get my snack, and my 6-year-old son's was missing, then it took another 20 minutes to deliver the missing snack. if I could, I would give 0 star.
I went to the Johnny Rockets at Lake Compounce. It was terrible, they gave my boyfriend the wrong burger. When they corrected it they gave him a cold burger, the problem with my food was the cheese wasn’t melted and the staff took forever! For 32$ for 2 burgers and a drink, i would never do this again!
Best sandwiches and milkshake you can get
I like the water rides but they need more
There were 4 of us and we were eager to try this place since it had excellent reviews. The service was good but it was difficult to hear the server list the specials because of the significant noise coming from the table right next to us. The downstairs dining area is rather small with one large table. We occupied a moderately sized table next to the large one and the noise was very intrusive. The dining room area in which we sat had many hard surfaces that reflected the noise and very little to absorb it. Even people speaking moderately loud would be intrusive to the next table because the tables are so close together. But, the food was skillfully prepared and the flavors were quite good. My wife and I had the cod over pasta which was quite good. Desserts were fairly standard but the flourless chocolate tort was very good as well as the lemoncello and moscapone cake. With tip about $100 for a couple having no drinks (they do not serve alcohol). A bit pricey but the value was good.
OMG the noise! I had to get that out first because it almost ruined the entire great dining experience.. The food was fantastic. Nicely prepared interesting choices that are ample in portion. The appetizers, salads, main course, and desserts were simply great. BYOB is a bonus.. But the noise level was so high we 4 either had to lean over our tables to hear and then yell back that it became very uncomfortable. Even the attentive and excellent waitstaff had to yell! The building appears to be an old house or office of some kind, so it’s acoustics are not proper for large dining gatherings.
What a wonderful dining experience- high quality food, friendly and efficient service, and great value, especially since we brought our wine.. You start with bread with some delicious spreads. Next we shared the imported cheese platter, which was very good. We both got the signature salad which was amazing! I got the cod special, served on linguini, and my husband got the branzino, served whole. Both were fresh and delicious. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate cake and a nice lemon cake, plus a nice cappuccino. We will definitely return!!!
Just in town for one night, called the restaurant direct and was lucky enough to score a table for two on short notice! An absolutely perfect dining experience followed. We were seated immediately and our server was lovely and most helpful, as were all the staff.. . Crabcake appetizer was virtually all lump crab and came deep fried and excellent. Cheese platter and salads were divine. Skirt steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Big eye tuna was rare and delicious, dessert great as well.. . We tend to order big and take leftovers, which were carefully and neatly packed up for us including one dessert, the lovely flourless chocolate cake.. . Do not pass Nataz up if you are in the area and be sure to call for reservations! Note it is BYOB and that it is a small red building with an inconspicuous sign, so watch carefully and don't miss it!
