Have to say we’ve never had a bad experience at Vazzys but tonight our server Lauren was beyond great! So pleasant and always checking in on us. Not once did we get a maybe or let me check, everything we asked of her was “yes” or “of course”. If you have a chance to dine there in the near future ask to be seated with Lauren! The manager Kristina was also amazing!
My party was at Vazzy's for a memorial luncheon fir our daughter. The staff was very kind and understanding. They went out of their to make sure that there was enough food for everyone and they were very attentive to talk our Al needs.
You won'y go away hungry! Service friendly and fast. Great variety of bread served first and Huge portions. Blueberry Cheesecake was a treat to end this wonderful meal!
I go to Vazzy's for the steamed twin lobster special, it's normally on point. This time round I must have got them on a busy day because I didn't get what I want exactly...just makes sure to call minutes before walking in.
Came here a year ago, waited an hour for our food, was told it wasn't ordered and we'd have to wait more. We were given a gift certificate and we left. Today we came back to use the gift certificate. After being shown to our table, they forgot about us again. Eventually, they remembered we were seated. Though I called ahead to make sure they had lobsters, when we got here we were told they ran out - which has happened multiple times in the past (including running out on my birthday). It's mostly empty inside. Sadly, it's probably only a matter of time.
We came for happy hour and had a great time. I'd heard of this place for years but this was my first time there. I love the atmosphere of the bar, the wood everywhere and the glass wall. It has that "friendly neighborhood place" energy.The waitress was kind and helpful. Our drinks came very quickly (very well made), the food took a little longer - as food does. When it did come, it was really delicious! I had garlic bread with mozzarella and peppers and it was perfect. I tasted some of my sisters pasta and it was even better. I'll be having the carbonara again next time!
I've gone to several parties here. Both family style and buffet. Food was always good. Staff was very attentive. Also went to a few funeral lunches here staff was very caring. They have a big menu to choose from. Party menu is huge and reasonable. Their Seafood pizza (white pizza) is AMAZING.
Very nice place. Waitress was excellent and the bread basket was very good.I ordered the eggplant dinner. The side of pasta and the veggies were good, but I didn't care for the eggplant. I will try something different next time. Definitely worth going again.
Having been to the Monroe location, I’ve always wanted to try the Original. Chrissy & Andrea we’re both wonderful. The drinks were great and the food was delicious. Good crowd of locals. I look forward to patronizing Vazzy’s in the future.
The food has always been delicious. However, the service seems to be dwindling. We called in a catering order to pick up and when we got there they had no recollection of the order. They said they would go and find it. A half hour to 45 minutes later they had the order. Yes, it was made right in front of us, but the lack of organization was disappointing. Would have appreciated a free cheese bread or discount on the meal. My husband and 2 kids had to wait in the car while this happened.
