The service was great but the food was not very good. The chicken quesadilla tasted like it had cheese whiz on it. The margaritas were average but definitely not worth the price.
Very fresh food! The tuna tacos were phenomenal! Daisy was a great server and very attentive. Steve behind the bar served us immediately. Awesome margs. Great vibe. Great live music. Very fun local spot in Black Rock. Will come back to eat!
Great tacos, margaritas and service. The Ahi Tuna and Biria tacos were spot on and the jalapeño margarita was top notch. Renzo, the bartender, augmented the whole experience. Looking forward to going back.
Food here is good! Service excellent! Friendly staff.Had the chips with salsa. Comes with different salsas all really good.The enchiladas here are served with crunchy ? tacos.
Food is fine, but the staff is what makes this place insufferable. The bartender is inappropriate, rude, and all around offers a bad atmosphere. From the underage kids running around, to the constant drunk remarks from the old man standing behind the bar to the girls in front of him, it is just not a comfortable spot to grab a drink and relax at.
Food was great, drink specials were great, service was super slow, the place was so loud we were shouting to eachother and food took a while to come out. Loved being able to make/modify a reservation online. Overall would maybe give it another chance or just do takeout.
Second time at Road Runner and was very happy with our meals. We'll definitely be back!
I was in Fairfield on business, and I came across this gem! Guacamole and margaritas were top notch and the bartender was super cordial! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
We went for happy hour. There was none on a Saturday. First bartender was good friendly and nice. Food was good chicken bites and nachos very unique. Once first bartender closed we had nothing but issues! 2nd shift bartender ignored us for a long time. Finally comes over I show him how much of cup I want filled told him I would pay extra it was simple cranberry and malibu. Well he poured pure cranberry. It was gross. I had a plastic cup the other bartender gave me so I said pour my drink in plastic. He questioned me as to why. I said in case it were to spill. He said that is pretty pricey to give me a plastic cup. I got annoyed with his rude attitude said never mind. He never checked to see if our drinks were good. He saw I did not touch mine. This place used to be our go to but it largely lacks consistency. The food is never the same each time we have been lately. The team said they changed the menu several times yet the items are the same. The drinks are good but the food is lacking quality for sure. So disappointing because we used to love this place. When we did not eat our most recent dishes because they were not good, the feedback was sorry……we changed the menu.
