Service is always amazing and the food is even better than that. Customer for years.

Typical Dominican and Puerto Rican food of excellent quality. Service score 10. For those who come from the countries of South and Central America, Ramirez Restaurante, is also able to kill the longing to enjoy food with native ingredients.

I love this place. I took my family to eat there and we all loved the food. The place was clean, the bathroom was clean and the service was great. I love to support my community and small business owners that work very hard and they have to compete with giants food chains that sells you all kinds of garbage for cheap like McDonald’s and others. The food is a bit expensive but it’s is worth it. The have to make a profit otherwise they can’t afford to stay in business. Mi gente apoyemos lo negocios de nuestra gente que se lo merecen.

I'm a cook for many years. My Grandparents own four restaurants. I've been to hundreds of Dominican and Puerto Rican restaurants. This place needs a chef that knows about ingredients. I spent $80 just for me and my wife. Horrible! Beans were tasteless. Oxtail was made with ragu sauce. Tasteless. Don't think I've ever tasted anything worst. $25 for a small lunch plate. Rice was not fresh at all. I order tostones and they were almost riped platanos. They even charged for the mojito (Garlic and oil) that supposedly should be included. I've never been to a Puerto Rican restaurant that charge you for mojito. My wife order beef stew and meat was game meat. Tasteless and horrible. Bought it home to my dog a she got angry.I had food at Carridad which is a small restaurant down the block. Food was way better. This Ramirez guy need to reevaluate his Chef.Won't catch me there again.I don't know about those 4 and 5 star ratings but those must be relatives or good friends that don't want to offend them or just don't know about food taste.

Great service but the food wasn’t good. The food was also overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here if you value your wallet and stomach:

I firsts visit this restaurant in 2019 and I felt right at home. I was raised in the South Bronx and as many people that come from New York City the best Hispanic/Latino restaurants are own my Dominicans/Puerto Ricans/Cubans because of the love and the great seasoning flavors. This gem is a pleasure to visit and worth every single cent. Not only will you leave with a happy tummy but you will experience the warmth and love of Pepe.a true Dominican prince and gentlemen who will shower you with love,Respect and courtesy. His service is phenomenal. The food is freshly made and you will always want to return to try a new dish.I have try many other restaurants here in CT with similar foods but nothing they are trying to sell to the public can compare to the uniqueness of Ramirez's restaurant. Don't be afraid to stop by this place because of the bad reputation that the east end has, come for the experience of Good food.I can't wait to try a mofongo and my favorite steaks.I can go on and on. you won't regret it. Come!
