The Best fishAnd Grits in tow

Very nice staff. Had to wait a bit longer than usual but only due to the company with me ordering a burger at breakfast...lol...very tasty food. Would definitely go back.??

I've never been disappointed. Fish and grits, home fries, buttery wheat toast. Just don't go in looking for anything fancy. It's a clean old school little dinner. They prefer you to order in person and you can pay with cash or card. Don't go when you're in a super rush. Go when you can have a seat and enjoy a great meal. They're also good for take out. Gives plenty of napkins, extra butter, and whatever else you request. This is a family owned, old fashioned, relaxed atmosphere. None of the hustle and bustle like some of the newer or chain joints. Go in, order your food, read a paper, or scroll your phone (or whateva). Then enjoy your meal. They look mean when they're not smiling but are super friendly and give good convo.

If you have two hours to spare for a plate of eggs than come here. I walked in at 9:30am for breakfast and left at 11:25am with HALF the food I ordered. They got our orders wrong (and we spoke Spanish to them Bc they don’t speak English well at all) my friend got an entirely different sandwich than what he ordered and when we said something they shrugged it off so he just ate what they gave him, my order was all wrong and I left “still waiting for my bacon”. The only thing we enjoyed was our coffee. First and last time I will ever come here.

The grits are the best in town!!

So nick retired and there’s new mgmt.. order fish and grits and the fish was horrible fried with some old weird thick batter that made fish look like chicken tenders, they had no tartar sauce and served me rye bread and said it was white toast! Be aware food not the same since nick retired!!
