What happened to this place?! I’ve ordered from here many times and my latest order might be the last. On multiple occasions my order has been incorrect, including this one. Ordered my usual Sando meal and received the Sando Jr., or so I think. It was one tender on a small bun. Sadly this restaurant is becoming very inconsistent. Each time I have received different variations of French fries - sometimes deliciously crispy but soft waffle fries, and other times soggy thick fries. I always order lite mild spice level and definitely have received very hot on more than one occasion. Even the way the food is presented has been different each time, as well as the menu offerings like combos. I’ll admit the chicken and waffle fries are amazing, when it’s right! The wait times have been much longer lately too. I miss the days of the Sando Meal which included waffle fries and a side of comeback sauce. Very conflicted - when the order is right the food is amazing, but the inconsistencies are becoming annoying and I feel as though I’m wasting my money.
The absolutely best burnt brussel sprouts and cheese fries! The chicken is absolutely delicious too! Love this place!
I very rarely give reviews -- and usually only to warn people to not waste time at horrible restaurants. It feels good to be able to rate a place for being EXCELLENT.Ordered the sando spice level: Hot and all I can say is WOW. Chicken was so crispy and seasoned very well. I actually just got back from Vegas where I had some Nashville hot chicken from a very well-known restaurant that begins with an H. Their chicken was great but Howling Hot Chicken was better. Chicken crispier, better flavor to sauce on chicken, and the comeback sauce I even thought was improved.Coleslaw was the only thing that wasn't superior but was still very good and balanced the sandwich.Fries were super crispy. Crinkle cut style so honestly my perfect french fry by having a super crispy exterior but still potato-y inside.It was a lot of food, felt like I got a good deal. Lots of fries and a big sandwich, too. I ended up taking some leftovers home and ate them the next day---fries were STILL amazing and honestly significantly better than many places' fries day-of. Shocked. I usually end up throwing out left over fries or begrudgingly eating them. These were *chefs kiss*.The store itself was clean and bright and well decorated. Staff seemed happy and were doing a good job keeping the food coming out and picking up tables after guests left.
Unfortunately, even though the food was good, we had an experience like most of the other unhappy reviewers here. We got our order home and realize two sides were missing, the burnt Brussels and an order of coleslaw. We saw that those were good items, but we didn't get them. We called in to the store and notified them about the missing items, and they said they would write down my wife's name and to come in in the future and they would honor the mistake.I just called in and the woman taking my call said she didn't have anything written down about the botched order. They obviously have an issue, way too many complaints online to not have a systemic issue. They need to log these complaints online or something, how else will they mend their reputation?I'm not going there again. I'm sorry. Maybe you guys can reach out to me and I'll change my review if you honor the missing items I paid for.
I love this place and I’ve become a regular at it now!! Whenever someone out of town visits me I bring them here and they love it too. I always get the Sando meal no spice and cheese sauce on the fries and it’s AMAZING. Quality is worth the price and the portion is always filling. Their red velvet cookies and banana pudding are fire too! I can’t say enough praise about this place
When Howling Hot opened last year it was fantastic! In 1 year they have gone down hill quickly. Food is not the same fries are not crispy anymore and prices have gone way up since menu changed. Very disappointed!
Damn good chicken sandwich. I love spicy food so I always go with the hottest option wherever I go. I hate when I go places and they overstate how spicy the food is, the reapor is not that, definitely packs a punch ?
I'm giving it 4 stars because the quality of the chicken is absolute ????. My issue is 2 things; the level of service at the register is inconsistent and the food in general is inconsistent. The idea behind the restaurant is fantastic but the execution needs better attention. Milkcraft finally opened next door and it's the same story; the ice cream is excellent but the rest is incomplete. I ordered a milk and cereal and a bourbon breakfast. The same bourbon breakfast was made twice by accident by 2 different people; the first was a half filled plastic cup with nothing on it and the 2nd was made correctly (well filled with cornflakes as the menu states). Neither place is inexpensive; better training/management needs to be a priority then they can both really shine!
The concept is great I would eat there once a week but the execution makes the food received not worth the money or time.I love this food! however not worth the money. I have gotten cold fries with some hot fries placed on top. Just sneaky. I have gotten no fries ?!? I have seen my food sit on the counter for 25 minutes before being brought to the car. It’s a real mess and is getting worse over time. I had to stop going, it was just consistently bad.
Food was great. But person at the register was to occupied with swiping a card for about 10 minutes before she looked up at me and I asked me what I wanted to order. Thing is I had already ordered online...and I should have been in and out instead of waiting until my presence was acknowledged.
