My food was decent. Rice didn't exactly taste fresh. My husband enjoyed his food. Waiter was great.
Beautiful establishment with a good staff. If you’re into history then you need to go at least once. You’ll be glad you did.

This spot is a major diner landmark in Bridgeport & I go here every now/then to either grab some food whether it’s for breakfast/dinner. For the 1st time in a long time I decided to grab a breakfast wrap with some hash which I haven’t had in quite a few years & I wasn’t disappointed with what I got because it all was definitely done in a timely manner when I called my order in ahead of time.Been going here on/off since I was a kid & the food never disappoints me at all.Based on the setup nowadays you can either dine inside, call your order ahead of time if your on the go or even do curbside pickup. There’s multiple options now.
So my first time in this area. I happen to see this dinner that look small and cozy. So I stepped in. The seating was great and had booths.I looked at the menu ....and I was amazed at the length of the menu . I chose the full ribs and coleslaw and Mac it was delicious they also had a great amount of seafood too the French Onion soup was very tasty and Harty I would definitely recommend this place ??
Did takeout today for the corned beef. Very good and lean. My husband had the dinner and I had the sandwich. Was ready when he got there and was happy. 1st time going to this diner since Covid. Very happy was the end result!
It's not a modern diner, but the food was pretty darn good. Chicken souvlaki on bed of rice, triple decker tuna salad (enough for 2 nice meals). Good service a nice experience all around.
Went here for lunch with mom the food was very good. We were seated right away and our waitress was so kind. Took alot of food home since the portions are huge. Everything came out hot and the fries had a nice crisp.
Not the same as it used to be?.. new owners & new chef / cook..not that great...ordered my fav penne Ala vodka..with grilled chicken .Penne Alla vodka showed up with NO CHICKEN ..& sauce tasted terrible sent it back & ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken....(they told me they had run out of Alla vodka sauce.. tried to make it a different way they should have just told me they were out of it at the beginning! &order something else... Well the fettuccine alfredo was bland sauce.. I had to add a third of a Shaker of Parmesan cheese just to give it some taste.. the chicken was okay... I've been coming here for years but haven't been here in 2 years.. it's not like it used to be..?.. portions are smaller menu has changed not for the better.. and so far quality of the food not good.. so sad as this used to be my go-to place at least once a week
