Great food and attentive service. The owner and the employees are friendly and welcoming. The Mike's chop salad is a must! Delicious, healthy, and filling. The prices are reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for.
Frankies diner is an amazing diner! Every time I go to the diner I receive excellent service. The food is amazing and the customer service as well. The workers there are kind and generous and never rush you especially when you do not know what to order. The diner is clean and and well put establishment. Anyone that goes will have an amazing experience. The owner of the establishment is also a very kind hearted and amazing man. He interacts with all his customers and makes you feel welcomed. Was really good, ordered a hot dog with ketchup and bacon and a side of pickles. Unfortunately the waitress and I forgot the pickles part. The hot dog was good sized and all beef as advertised and had crazyyy amounts of bacon. About $5 can't complain. Mom had the chicken souvlaki which was delicious and very generous with chicken, more veggies would make it perfect. All in all a great meal for the price at a decent diner.
Great place to eat at however I understand their short staffed but when you see a customer. Weather it's dine in or take out and can't assist them right away at least acknowledge their presence and let them know someone will be with them soon.One worker kept walking past me and never spoke but managed to speak to the other customer who was finishing his breakfast. I didn't mind waiting I just wanted her to acknowledge me instead felt she was ignoring me.
If I could give this place a zero I would. Not only is this place dirty inside and food horrible, but most importantly, service is THE WORST. They will also get your car towed for no good reason and without warning. This place isn’t worth the $20 check to dine let alone a $250 fee to get your car after. 0/5 DO NOT RECOMMEND. These people clearly hate their job and it’s a wonder how they’re still open since serving the public makes them miserable. That old hag who “greets” people needs to go. There are other diners out there who treat their customers with respect.

Quality of food has gone down and bad.. meatloaf was stale and tasted awful.. the rice was dry and bland and no flavor.. broccoli couldve been softer. Food gave me an upset stomach. I will never eat there again. I heard food was bad but wanted see for myself.
I've been coming to this diner since I was a child. The food is good and the service is usually great. Well this one time I went with my son, we were served by a server who had an attitude. When we were done eating HE placed the check down on the table and said "make sure you pay!" Not "have a nice day" or "thank you for coming" nope "make sure you pay". Who says that to a paying customer?!?!?!?
A diamond in the rough. I'm a fan of diners, this one is in the heart of Bridgeport Connecticut. You don't usually expect to find a diner in areas like that, but what a treat. Our waitress Lori who was the only waitress on staff I might add. Made us feel right at home and was a true hustler. I had the chopped steak with onions and gravy. That's a favorite of mine, very good. We ordered potato pancakes for the table they were a treat. Cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy and hot on the inside. Served with a side of apple sauce and sour cream. My wife had chicken and waffles she said it was good. My two friends got the pizza quesadillas and the went absolutely crazy for them. Which I thought was funny because I never thought of pizza and quesadillas together. If you're in Bridgeport Connecticut give local business a shot and try Frankie's Diner.
If I could give 0 stars, I would.January 1st I place a order for delivery.They don’t deliver so I had to order thru door dash. FineWhen the food gets here, there is a missing sandwich on my order.I call Frankie to see what happened and the old lady on the phone has the audacity to say it was a honest mistake and if I want the missing sandwich to come pick it up like???!?? I just paid a service delivery fee to get food from this restaurant.She goes on and say I’m sorry we are really busy and call door dash for a refund on your sandwich like I understand mistakes happen but for you to say that is beyond crazy.She didn't even try calling door dash and tell them about their “honest mistake”I’ll never order from here ever again.Old lady on the phone needs to go. She literally has bad customer service especially after the restaurant messed up my order. It’s like I’m at fault for something they made the error on.Never again ordering from here again.
