Lovely evening, beautiful setting, great food.
I almost cancelled based on previous reviews but glad I didn't ! We pulled up in our boat from Long Island and were greeted by dock hands who helped. They had a golf cart to take my sister directly to the restaurant since she has a bad knee. We sat outside and the waitress was wonderful. Great beer selection and superb lunch special menu . I had onion soup which was homemade and loaded with onions and the CT style lobster roll. It was not huge but perfect for lunch. Came with large portion of fries. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich which was large and tasty. We will definitely return !
Gorgeous views, nice menu with lunchtime specials that were a good value
The lobster Cobb was not fresh âpicked lobsterâ. It was a scoop of mashed lobster from a can or frozen with a very bad taste. Second time I got it here and both times it was not fresh
The place looks very nice - however the customer service skills of the mgmt staff is very poor. We sat outside - they need more umbrellas outside - because it was 85 degrees and sunny and we were sweltering. We asked to be moved to shade and they refused to move us even when there were empty tables in the shade available. They said that their policy is not to move people because then every one would want to move. So they would rather have their customers suffer than to be accommodating. We ended up moving ourselves to the table in the shade and asked our server to serve us. She complied and did the right thing. I have never been in a restaurant where they treat their customers like dirt. Although the physical place is nice - we will not go back.
The place is so big and the noise can be overwhelming. The atmosphere outside is great. Inside is just one big room. Food is good. Always a busy place because of the scenery.
Nice view while eating. Very fast delivery out of kitchen. A bit pricey $125 for two, drinks no appetizers and desert.
I donât mind spending money for a good meal if but the price did not meet the meal. This is our second time there and we find the staff at reception to be rude - both times. The wait staff is also little to be desired. They arenât very friendly. Just there to do a job. And the manager or owner hops around and spends time where he sees fit. The food is ok, but not worth the price. Everything is all cart and the drinks are way over priced. We wonât go back. You are simply paying to sit by the water and you can do that many places in this area for far less and with a better experience and better food.
Fabulous lobster roll and best French fries ever! Servers very pleasant. Fun to be on the water. Definitely going back.
I would highly recommend Service was great--we were going to a show at Oakdale and had plenty of time to eat and get to show.
