Excellent Jamaican food. I spent my youth in Jamaica & grew up eating really delicious food prepared by my grandmother so I can actually attest to the authenticity of the food’s flavour. It has become a challenge finding good Jamaican food in Bpt. This place is it. My mom & I shared the jerk chicken, which was seasoned to the bone & very good. The flavour was there although not quite exactly as in JA as you would need pimento wood for that perfect flavour. However this is by no means a complaint bc the chicken was good. The chicken back (best part) was seasoned & edible. The sauce for the jerk chicken was also tasty. The cabbage was so flavourful, albeit probably a bit pepper for many. The oxtail. First the lovely, welcoming, & polite lady in the restaurant OFFERED oxtail gravy on the rice with jerk chicken. That doesn’t happen. The oxtail was delicious. There was even carrot & potato in it like home cooking. Oxtail was a bit overcooked but very tasty. Oh, I cannot leave out the rice & peas. It was very good also. Nothing worse than bland rice & peas. Portions are fair/generous. The food nice. I am quite pleased with 4 Seasons Jerk Center & will absolutely return when Im in Bpt wanting good Jamaican food. You should visit also. I’ll be spreading the word :)
Recently, discovered this restaurant on Uber Eats, just exceptional. Their done to order steam fish (red snapper) is sublime. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned, delicious fish and veggies (not over cooked/over seasoned) rather a hearty, comfort meal with generous portions. I order from many Uber Eats restaurants, to I this restaurant prepares the most fresh, delicious, well presented food. I wish I’d discovered them sooner.Additionally, customer service is equally exceptional. The restaurant is attentive, courteous and values their customers to the extent they’ve gained a repeat customer! In a rushed pandemic climate it’s refreshing to find this gem of a restaurant with both excellent customer service and great food (see steamed fish photos I uploaded to google photos.)
I recently saw that this place popped up on my map and contemplated for a while to try. I pulled the trigger today and tried and I have to tell you the service was amazing and the food was just as great. My wife enjoyed the jerk chicken and I was amazed at how soft and aromatic the rice and peas was. Hands-down the best Jamaican spot in Bridgeport Connecticut that I’ve tried so far.
The food here is absolutely amazing also the food is nicely seasoned and good to the taste I’ve been going here for several weeks on my lunch break and I was never disappointed, The homemade jerk sauce is Is truly one of a kind..I wish it was able to be sold separately..lol When you walk into the restaurant you being greeted with a great smile and the smell of good food, i’ve been many places that served Jamaican food in Bridgeport and by far this is one of my favorite
