Not bad - it's not amazing, but it's not bad. It certainly delivers on the name, and it definitely has a particular vibe of "all things deep fried, and only deep fried." If you're into that sort of thing, here's your place! I like fries and chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks as much as the next American, and in theory, mashing it altogether on a sandwich with some cheese sauce, lettuce, and ranch sounds like a great idea... But when most of the ingredients on the sandwich have the same flavor and texture (deep fried crunches), it's kinda meh. Once I ditched the bread and started eating the innards individually, it was great! The cheese sauce is delicious. Had the cheesecake bites for dessert, those were amazing :) all the staff was very friendly and service was fast. Little pricier than I imagined, $35 for two sandwiches, sodas and 3 cheesecake bites, but oh well.
My first experience here was at midnight and was the only restaurant we could find open and we were working all night and needed some food. I got the medium sized philly and a large shake for right at $18.00 I wasn't to happy with the price but got it anyways. This turned out to be one of the best Philly cheese steaks I've ever had and I eat quite a few of them.... It was so good that I went back 2 days later and got the exact same order again and it was every bit as good as the first one was. I would seriously drive out of my way to go eat there again!!!
The staff were so attentive and kind. Big shout out to Jacob and Mitch. The food was absolutely stellar. 10/10. Will definitely go again!
Just finished my fat sandwich and had to leave my 5 stars right away! So good! Let me preface this review by stating that I went to college at Rutgers University, the home of the fat sandwich. I never thought I would taste the delicious over the top wonderfulness of a fat sandwich again without making the trip back to NJ...but now I can! These guys are doing it legit. If these sandwiches don't fill you up, something ain't right with you....got the 9" regular, and it was loaded with the goodies. Do yourself a favor and order a Fat Jersey, no honey mustard and add marinara. In NJ this was a fat knight or a fat koko, depending on the joint. It is so bomb. Thanks, fat shack, for bringing my beloved sandwiches to the rest of the country!
