5 stars for taste. 1 star for speed. The food is always really good. But only go if you have 25-35 minutes to wait for a burrito, no exaggeration. But I can’t help but keep coming back - they do the best burrito around.
Drove by this restaurant today on our way home. Decided to try it. Delicious! We are vegan/vegetarian and so grateful to find some meatless green Chile that is the bomb! Our burritos were perfect and the customer service at this location was wonderful. Good Sunday vibes. Thank you for having options for us and being delicious! We will be back. Not sure who the woman was at the window today, didn’t get her name. But thank you for great customer service. Hard to find.

Don’t let the black covered wagon looking building fool you. Great daily specials on breakfast burritos. I got ham. The burrito was a good blend of ham, eggs, cheese, and medium Chile for about $5. The green chili was flavorful. Their parking lot can get cramped. I recommend parking next door and ordering from the walk up window.

I see people come to this place so I thought I would try it for the first time. It definitely wasn't what I thought. The woman taking my order wasn't very nice nor friendly. The food wasn't what I thought either. It could have been better just like the service.
Burritoes are good. What I pay at the window is never what the price is on the menu board and then they always say, "Sorry prices went up." Pretty sure it's always the story when I go there. What the board says is an $8 burrito, I paid $12 and then added a drink to pay a total of $16! Then they want tip? Not paying that kind of money when I can go to Santiagos and get a yummy burrito and drink for $9.
The girl was very busy but kept smiling and doing her job. At most other places I feel like I'm walking on eggshells just to get ok service, not here, thanks!!
El Jefe tacos and burritos is a rare gem that is both cheap and delicious. Honestly, this place sets the bar that I now compare all other places to for breakfast burritos. You definitely get the best bang for your buck here. When you come here, please tip. Let's keep a good thing going.
Yum!!! This place has delicious breakfast burritos and great food!!! I live 35 mins away, but I will go out of my way for great food! Also the people serving you are friendly and down to earth. Can’t wait to go back!
