Not your typical Chinese restaurant. So don't come if that's what you're expecting. It's authentic sh!t, so come if your an adventurous foodie.
I was skeptical about eating out. However, just moved to Colorado and I absolutely love Chinese food. I’m vegan and I absolutely loved my salt n pepper vegan tofu and sesame vegan chicken. The food is delicious.
Friendly staff and atmosphere. Food is always fresh and delicious, they're very generous with their portions as well! Nice to have a place that has authentic chinese roast duck/pork nearby!
First timer here and really like it! Granted it's not much to look at on the inside...but the true 5 star rating shines in their food. Great taste and perfectly cooked. I got both the "roast pork" and "BBQ pork" by the pound. Amazing! Really liked it and will definitely be back to try the ribs next.
Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It's not a huge or fancy restaurant, but wow - the food is sure authentic. I grew up with Chinese food in Vancouver and the food at Uncle Henry's is pretty close as your going to get in the Denver area to that authentic Chinese cuisine with which I grew up. Not too many tables or chairs inside the restaurant, so i wouldn't recommend going as a big group, but you can always carry away as an option. The BBQ pork (char siu) is great, but it was 10.95 per pound on the day of my visit, so *kind of* on the pricey side of things? Recommended!
I really wanted to give it 5 star since their roast duck and spicy broiled fish are both excellent! However the chicken broccoli is a meh. The chicken tasted tough comparing to other places.I am very confident in their authentic Chinese cooking. Maybe I shouldn’t order American Chinese food there like chicken broccoli.Will definitely come back for more authentic Chinese food.
The food here is so authentic. The flavor of the roast duck is fantastic! My my favorite dish is the salt and pepper tofu, fried to perfection! The crush and taste is phenomenal. I would 100% recommend uncle Henry you won’t be disappointed. Oh yeah, definitely try the salt and pepper fried chicken.

Extraordinary hong-kong/szechuan style chinese food. I wanted to get a sample size between straightforward Chinese-American takeout and more traditional chinese so I ordered the bbq pork lo mein and the "saliva chicken" respectively.The bbq pork lo mein was phenomenal and the ingredients all tasted fresh and clean. The saliva chicken, while not the most appetizing name, was actually extremely delicious. This is the first time I have ever had a real szechuan style dish after hearing so many things over the years about szechuan cooking and my god was this dish amazing. The garlicky szechuan umami flavor was numbing and salty but paired with the chicken and a side of rice, the flavors on show here are powerful. Both dishes exceeded my expectations and have set new bars for what chinese food can be.Fellow Coloradoans, consider yourselves extremely lucky to have access to authentic chinese cuisine within your neighborhoods.
Love this place so much. It's amazing food. Fresh, tastes wonderful and the whole family is so sweet! Annie is just a sweetheart. Great for dine-in or takeout. The atmosphere is just warm and comforting. My number one place for any kind of Chinese cuisine.
