Love Tamale Kitchen. Food is great. My go to is the smothered deluxe TK Burger with fries burrito ? We used to get the family pack but they raised the price and you don't get as much food in my opinion.
Terrible value - ordered several items but was stunned as my 2 bean and cheese burritos cost $10! The seemed expensive but we were craving that so we went with it. When I pulled up to the window, I saw the burritos were TINY and I was told I needed to spend $1 more to get a cup of salsa. Any Mexican food restaurant that doesn’t include at least 1 side of salsa for a $5 bean burrito is a scam
Only moderately better than Taco Bell, but 3x more expensive. They even charge you extra for salsa, and refills on your drinks aren't free either. Yes, a Mexican restaurant that charges customers for salsa, since they don't have any hot sauce. Truly unbelievable. It's baffling why people keep coming here. ?
This location is hit or miss, mostly good. They have friendly service. They can be super slow at times. Their tacos are usually filled with meat (favorite is steak) and the guacamole tostadas are good. But then a couple of times, the tacos barely had any meat and the tostadas barely had a scrape of guacamole.
Well another morning where I'm waiting 10 minutes in a drive through to get a breakfast burrito and there's only two people in front of me. They cover up their window with paper so you won't see the lady texting on her phone or making a phone call and your food just sitting their. They may even forget your salsa then charge you a $1.00 for a small cup. I paid $5.00 for this burrito that's just potato and cheese that's no bigger then a taco bell burrito. And look at the quality of these potatoes, fried potatoes in a breakfast burrito, disgusting....seriously....come on Tamale kitchen!!! You can do better then that!!! You can tell this establishment is family run and there's no one overseeing operations that's creating and accountability system geared towards the guest experience. Place sucks. Take your business to Ralibertos on Wadsworth!
Used to be amazing but today everything was so skimpy. Had a guacamole tostada that was practically a plain tortilla. Tacos were almost empty. Skimpy and unsatisfying. Hopefully just a fluke today. Will give them one more chance.
This is a good place to go if you want a good bite to eat and you don't feel like go in. I like the Cheese enchiladas and the beef tacos. The food is fresh nothing ever gives me a upset tummy. I'm yet to try the Carne asada fries. The Customer Service has always been great. Friendly, never rude or impatient which is a big deal to me.
I have come to this location for some time as it is closer proximity to my home. Recently my experience has been negative each time. The lady working the drive-thru (which had been the only way to get food here during COVID) is very rude and argumentative. Instead of providing customer service, she belittles you. The prices for their morning burritos is about the only thing this place has going for it. I will drive it of my way to go somewhere else from now on. Stay away!!!
The green chili is decent. The tostada was edible. But the steak fries burrito was absolutely disgusting. The fries were still greasy, they put some sort of questionable meat in there with I assume guacamole but it tasted off and was super dark green. Would not recommend getting anything other than there green chili here if even that.
Good cheap place. Their tamales are cheap and good. They have them on special every Monday and you can get them for $1. Just don't forget to buy the chili on the side because it does not include any chili or salsa. Good place.
