Great food. Bar tender Richard was a blast. Had a good time here even though we were tired from a long day.
Better than expected. Had the 6 Oz filet with fried shrimp and baked sweet potato. Steak was done perfectly & my sweet potato perfect.
Great family experience…The queso/brisket appetizer was out of this world!! Fantastic service and a fabulous meal. And, top it off with a awesome view of the Rocky’s!
The service was awful. The waitress forming us that it was her last day working and to excuse her on not listening to what we are ordering, because quote “it is my last day”. My steak was burnt. Our sever asked if we wanted refills and she never brought them to us, the manager had to ask us if we wanted refills and he brought it. Our server was so checked out. My husbands soup wasn’t brought out and got his order wrong as well. When we talked to her about his steak. She says and I quote, I was just reading what the other sever wrote down.
Saltgrass had friendly staff, nice decor, and good food. I had chips and queso, beef tips over mashed potatoes, and a beer. The beef tips and mushrooms were really delicious. I thought the house chips were just a tad hard for my taste. I liked the artwork on the walls. Overall, I liked this place and would return.
Ordered salt grass to delivered to my home. Hill country salad and an appetizer. I’ve attached pictures of my “salad”. There is no bacon, cheese or croutons. Less than one chicken breast. This cost me close to $20. I would think you would be embarrassed by delivering this to one of your customers. Just because I’m not sitting in your dining area doesn’t mean I don’t deserve the same type of quality. Do better
Great steaks but it is expensive. $120 for 4 of us and we ordered on the bottom end of the price scale. No appetizers. 4 waters with lemons. But again great steaks. Great salads. Great baked potatoes. Waitress was new but she did a great job. My only complaint was we had all ordered our steaks med. Well. 3 were perfect but mine was medium rare. Other than that I would recommend it.
Friday night and staff well prepared for the Friday night rush. Food served quickly and was delicious and cooked to perfection. Wait staff very attentive. Many other establishments struggle to provide decent service and food. Salt Grass consistently provides both because of superior due diligence effort. Very nice dining experience and will go back anytime.
Great food, reasonable cost, excellent service from friendly knowledgeable staff! What more could you ask for!! It would be nice if prime rib would return!! Miss it soooo much!!
Not impressed! First time there waitress was helpfull. I got salmon and smoked mac n cheeze. Salmon was small and over cooked on one side, mac n cheese was average with smoke flavor added. Sangria was all ice and no liquid. Wife got t bone steak and said it was good not great. The good was the bread and fried onions. Not impressed at all for $85! I don't recommend.
