The young guy who took my order on Saturday about 230pm was super considerate about taking me and husband's order.We ordered amazing taco's that are always delicious we ordered margaritas I wanted a blueberry pomegranate he told me it had strawberry in it I told him I was highly allergic to it and made sure to apologize and accommodating and made some suggestions on something else to make me that was delicious as wellWe will always come here for tacos
First, the tacos I ordered had more onions on them than meat. Not a huge deal, I was able to scrape off what wasn't needed. But biting into the taco I was met with something crunchy/hard that hurt my tooth. Not only were the potatoes majorly dehydrated, the meat was over cooked to the point it had small, burnt, hard pieces throughout it. I had to throw away my food and get something else for dinner. While I didn't expect truly authentic picadillo, what I got was totally inedible.
This is my first time visiting this place. The Rusty Taco is a definite keeper. The tacos are filled with healthy portions and a wide variety of delicious offerings. I tried the barbecue brisket taco the crunchy Baja shrimp and the green chili chicken. All three were delicious. And surprisingly the Baja shrimp taco had a generous amount of shrimp.Will definitely be returning to this place.Reasonable prices and delicious tacos.Hey Rusty Taco. Please consider opening up a location in reunion/commerce city.I have no doubt the locals would support you quite well.
The cashier/server was phenomenal. He was super friendly and checked on us several times.The tacos were not great. I did enjoy the fried chicken taco a little more than the steak fajita taco. I left the jalapeno ranch sauce off the fried chicken taco and it still had more flavour than the steak fajita taco with added guacamole. The corn tortillas were cold, straight out of a bag, I suspect. I read that the chain originated in Dallas. This doesn't compute, the Texas that we lived in knows that soft corn tortillas should be heated in the flattop or in some wayWe asked for added fresh avocado, they were out. They were also out of two sodas. But the cashier did tell us these things up front.The cashier before ours just walked away from the register, even though there was a line and ignored us. He didn't say that he would be right back or anything. Thank goodness for the gentleman who walked up next because he made the night much better. But alas, we probably won't be back.
Came here for taco Tuesday and remembered why I love this place. Unlimited chips when you buy queso is great! Staff is very friendly and tacos are tasty.
Had a great dinner with Grilled shrimp taco's, made perfectly with fresh fixings and wrapped in a fresh corn tortilla, they hold together while eating them so you know they are fresh. If your gluten free this taco is for you.
The tacos are great - when they get the order right. Unfortunately we’ve often received orders with something missing, and tonight we got a completely different order than what we ordered. They offered to replace our food, but we couldn’t spare an extra 30-40 minutes to go back and get it. They did refund our order, but that doesn’t feed us dinner.
Dined here on a Sunday evening. Place wasn't busy and counter service was fast and friendly. Enjoyed a couple of tacos but the highlight was the street corn. Place was clean and would return.
Not a bad little taco place. We went on a Wednesday afternoon after the lunch rush hours. The place wasn't too busy, the gentleman who took our order was nice, knowledgeable, and patient. Being they were not busy our food took a little longer than anticipated to get, but they do make everything when ordered which is nice. Several Taco options to include all day breakfast tacos. The Tacos we ordered had good flavor and the tacos were pleasantly filled. They have some nice salsas to put on your food which included a very tasty habanero sauce. The nachos could have been bigger and used more Queso on them. Nobody likes an empty chip. The staff did make their rounds making sure everyone was having a good experience which showed good customer service. We left happy and filled. I would go back.
When my boyfriend first introduced me to this taco place, I fell in love. R Taco has the best damn tacos I've ever had in my life. Which is why it pains me to leave one star like this. The past few times we've ordered there have been minor mistakes, like the wrong taco, or no extra avocado that we paid for. Given how good the tacos are, we chose to overlook it. Today however we received our food and there were so many mistakes. We did not receive any salsa. I ordered the dynamite shrimp (right) and fried chicken (left). The dynamite shrimp was missing Avocado and jalapeno ranch. The fried chicken was missing the jalapeno ranch as well. My boyfriend ordered two stacked and loaded tacos but there was no queso in either of them. We literally received half- finished tacos. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I dont think we will choose to visit this location again.
