Hands down the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever visited. The margaritas were not good. The salsa tasted literally like it was mixed with marinara sauce. The tacos had 0 flavor and were cold. The service was horrible also as the waitress ran off quickly every time she visited the table without letting us put in an order or ask for anything.I hope the owners of the restaurant read their reviews and do something to change the restaurant because I’m not the first person to leave a review and also say that I will never be visiting Rositas in my life again.
My house I lived in for 36 years was just a few blocks from this place, and sadly I had lived there for 20 years before I even tried this place.... Wow is all I can say about them. As far as Mexican food in Denver goes. This is hands down the absolute best Mexican breakfast food and breakfast burritos you can find. I love their green chili and the levels of spicy really jump from mild to hot. Half and half is always a good bet, Mexican hamburger is a must try. But get yourself some eggs, chorizo, bacon, and pried potatoes (ask for the potatoes to be fried crispy every time. You won't regret it.) my grandmother and her siblings would get breakfast and it's the best breakfast you can find if your into chorizo and green chili. Get up and go there!!! Now!!! ?
Service was not good, had to stand up for 2 minutes to get attention of the waitress. When she finally came over she tried to hand us the check when we really needed more drink and were still eating. Husband ordered 3 tacos and only got 1. Meat had no flavor. Too back the service was so bad and food had no flavor, it was a nice location and nice atmosphere. Not a place we will ever go back to.
Went to pick up an order and the heavy set girl with red hair couldn’t even say hi and after she handed me the food I said thanks and have a great night, she just turned around and walked away without even saying anything. When I walked in she asked what’s the name for your order without even a hello.. I don’t appreciate rude behavior. This was the first time ordering there and it will be the last. A smile and a hello go a long way!
Rosita’s was a regular stop, beginning in the mid ‘80s. Loved the food and atmosphere. Because of the COVID hysteria, haven’t eaten there for a couple of years, until a few nights ago. Not a good experience. Waiter got both our orders wrong. Mediocre food. Snarky cashier, bragging about their huge changes. Most telling was the lack of patrons, just 2 small groups, on a Friday evening! In the past Rosita’s was always busy.
Again I love their food and service. I personally like them over other Mexican restaurants because of the FRIED POTATOES!!! Just like I remember having them as a kid. Too many other places use hashbrowns and it is NOT the same ?
Great, friendly service and good food at reasonable prices. Clean and still COVID conscious. Plenty of parking and fast service.Lunch menu allows you to try entrees at a better price.
$7.06 For this breakfast burrito??Please someone park a food truck here so we can at least get some fresh reasonably priced food...
I'm lactose intolerant so they substituted goat cheese for me. Tacos with rice and refried beans was delicious. Service was great. Definitely a favorite place to eat
Absolutely disgusting. The steak was cooked hours beforehand with zero seasoning. Oxidated Guacamole was pureed with zero salt lime,or consideration for my taste buds. My tacos were thrown into the box with bits of cheese sprinkled into it and miraculously none of it made it INTO the shell! Whoever made the chili actually somewhat cared about its preparation. 100.00 dollars and that's the only money Rositas will be stealing from me forever.
