Possibly the worst first experience. It started off fine and we got seated quickly but my server let me know she was new there and couldn’t answer very many of my questions. Our appetizers took a very long time. The kids food came out a good 20+ minutes before my entree so everyone was done before me and I could not enjoy my food and had to take it home. Only my son received a refill while we were there and our server never came around to the point I started to drink his since he was done with his food. She was missing most of the time to the point that I got up and tried to find someone to check me out. Apparently there are a lot of new workers here and no one could figure out the system or it wouldn’t let them so I waited 15 minutes until they got it. I will probably not go back.
Place has gone to pot!! Obviously this place has large issuesWas told to not wait next to door. Chose to eat in the bar to not get haggled. I have my two daughters with me.Server took 17 mins to hit the table. 20 after that to get my drinks. At 45 mins I was able to order dinner. I asked for a water 3x and never got it.I have more to gripe, but am over it.
Jeremy was an awesome server for my Granddaughters 1st BirthDay party. We went back there because Melissa was outstanding for my Granddaughter, who was 5 in January. Perfect Pizza Parties
Good was soooooo good! Pizza abs Cesar’s salad. Service was a little slow but didn’t matter cause the food was so good Want to go again before I leave Denver!
Should have stuck with pizza, instead ordered some appetizers and a sandwich.Highlights: pepperoni rolls and little big cookie, love the kids menu design.Lows: pretzel sticks, spin art dip and Italian melt. The beer is good, as it should be.Service was fine, knowledgeable, helpful with recommendations.I wanted it to be great, got meh instead.
Ordered Pizza Rolls and Italian Nachos to go. When we got home and opened the Italian Nachos the chips were burnt, had very little cheese and sausage. We dont live close enough to take them back.Seriously!! Obviously Old Chicago has not quality in there food.Ridiculous. didn't even want to give it 1 star. Should be negative 1
The worst pizza I've ever had in my whole life and I'm 60. And coast over40.00 for 8 slices. Of pizza and 6 hot wings. The center was very doughyNot cooked .properly.the chicken I've bought better in freezer. At the dollar tree .the WORST. Service eve. rude .
Update 1/25/2022: I appreciate customer service reaching out, so they earned a star for that. My husband and I went back about two weeks later, and they were much more efficient and seating a lot more tables. They were actually quite busy and our server was still attentive. Unfortunately, the food is not the same! Our server informed us they changed their dough recipe!! Why change something that is perfect?! So the Sicilian Pizza Rolls and Jalapeno Pretzel Bites just aren't the same.Original 12/10/2021: We love the food, but the management and staff need to get it together!! Showed up to have dinner, there was someone checking people in right inside the door (which was blocking other people from entering and leaving). Said it would be 10 minutes and we needed to wait in the car. Cool, no problem…..The restaurant is 10% full and empty tables are everywhere. I understand the shortage of staff because it’s hard to hire people who actually want to work right now. The problem I had was the four employees standing around at the host stand looking completely lost and not doing anything productive. Ten minutes goes by and ask the wait time again, and they said another 10-15 minutes. We left and went across the street where service is normal, even following COVID protocols.
I work very nearby this place and often find myself coming for happy hour. The beer selection is great, and thats about where it ends… Food is nothing to write home about, very mediocre and bland. Fried Mac’ n’ cheese bites are solid though! Service is trash, I’ve been comped multiple times on food because it’s taken so long to get. Even drink service has been extremely delayed. Many better places out there. I’d recommend for the good beer selection at happy hour, nothing more.
I ordered pizza for pizza for a jobsite lunch! The food was great but we needed paper plates as we were at a jobsite and didn't have any! Old Chicago did not have any to give us so we had to scrounge up and make do!!! They really should consider have some to give out in situations like this.Although they have great service I've had this location use my rewards $ without asking me first, so be cautious when getting your visit added to your account!! My boss was buying lunch that day and since they used both of my $5 rewards (without asking me) I paid for my own lunch instead of getting a free lunch!!! There is definitely room for improvement Old Chicago!!!
