Staff is nice, but not very knowledgable. I asked what could be done as vegan and she started talking about chicken!Once I got that cleared up, the dish I ordered was quite tasty. However, I'm not sure I'd go back due to lingering worries about their understanding of veganism. My dining companion ordered a soup combo thinking she'd get try 3 soups, but it's served with all 3 soups in 1 bowl! WHAT? When pressed, the server refused to bring them in separate bowls, but she did remove them from the bill and quickly brought an alternative, which I'm told was quite good.
This was my first time having Himalayan food. The food was decent, good flavor and adequate portion sizes (small appetites can share). The atmosphere was not that great. We stood inside for about 5 minutes before someone came out of the back and noticed us. The same song was played on repeat for the entire meal which did become tedious.
I'm going to have to say this wasn't very good. The chicken Tika masala was only passing. The nan was awful. It was kind of thick and didn't seem cooked all the way. The lamb biryani was pretty good. I got the "regular" versions of the meals and maybe it needed to be spicier to be better?
Their Korma is heavily sweet potato based and watery vs. Traditional nut and spice. The Naan was dry and overly sweet. The chicken momos were a saving grace. 5/5 for the momos, the rest of the food didn't even taste like the item we ordered. Avoid this place unless you want momos
I am by no means an expert on Indian Food, I’ve only been to 4 different restaurants (two of them being Yak and Yetis), but this one was hands down the best. The Garlic Naan was delicious, the curry was spicy, the meat was quality. Awesome, will definitely be back
Different date night with the wife and was not disappointed.
I ordered the vegetable korma tonight as treat for a rough day and it was super delicious! Very flavorful. The staff also threw in kheer complimentary, which was such a small act but meant a lot to me. Thank you guys :')
Ordered Paneer Masala, Chicken Momo and Iced Chai Tea. Everything was delicious!! I got medium spice. They gave me enough for three meals. They also gave me complimentary Khee which also was quite tasty. Definitely will order again.
Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Cozy location, and attentive staff. Papad served with sauces before we had a chance to order. I went with lamb biryani, while my buddy went with chicken korma. While my meal was very tasty, I could have used more spice/heat.
So delicious. This has turned into one of our favorite places for takeout - better than Yak & Yeti, IMHO. Menu is varied, so everyone can find something, and I've yet to be disappointed in anything I've ordered. One of my favorites is the Sherpa stew and can't forget the veggie momo!
