I started going to Hacienda regularly during the pandemic. Their take out is always great - on time and accurate for what I ordered. Take out also includes chips and salsa, and is carefully packed to keep fresh until it gets home (tacos require self assembly, but on the flip side the shell is crunchy!)Dine in is also great. I've always been able to snag a seat, food comes out fast and service is attentive. Of all the restaurants in Walnut Creek, this one takes the cake. There's also loads of parking.

the atmosphere is great. our waitress was very good. chips & salsa were very good and the guacamole was very good. I had a margarita that was good. The food on the other hand was below average at best and it was not worth the money. I had a burrito with grilled chicken it had no taste to it and the pieces of chicken were way too big. My daughter had a burrito bowl that on the bottom was full of liquid. It felt thrown together both meals and they got out the food right away. I seemed the food was out less than 10 mins which tells me the food was all already made just sitting there waiting to be thrown into something. We were both disappointed in our meal. Would not go back.

Deeeeelicious Barbacoa tacos!!!! Isaac was attentive and made fantastic drinks. 5 star visit for sure!!

Very nice restaurant. The food was very good. Started with serving chips and salsa. Our table had enchiladas, beef and chicken and taco plates. No complaints! The frozen margaritas and frozen sangria swirl are both recommended! Service was spot on and very attentive and they were pretty crowded. Will definitely be on our list when we return!

Love this place! We swing by maybe 3-5x a year when we're passing through town to go skiing or see my Bro.Food is always really good. Margs are awesome. If it's busy you can almost always get a table in the bar side.Family friendly. They also accept reservations.

Waiter seemed a bit out of it. Food was okay but I've definitely had a better skirt steak. I asked if it came as a skirt, and when the food arrived it looked more like sliced fajitas. It's like the staff really wasn't even trying. Wasn't bad but definitely not great.

It was really good. My Bf took me out to dinner here on Saturday bc we were both hungry. The staff was nice, we got our meals pretty quickly. I got chicken tenders, and my Bf got a bean and cheese burrito with beef. It was delicious. Will definitely go again :3

Lunch Thursday jan.20. Sat in bar and service was fine. Had fish tacos. Not very good. Fish grossly overcooked, far too much cabbage and no sauce so they were very dry. Corn tortillas were very dry as well. Server asked a couple times how everything was, but as a 20-year restaurant management veteran I didn't want to pile on the difficulties all restaurants have during Covid.

Fantastic Mexican food with astonishingly quick service times! Our server was rad, the food was good, I don't really know what else to say. Try the Poblano y Pollo, it's tasty!

The location looks nice, and that's about the only thing this place has going. Our table was dirty when we got there. The food is definitely not authentic Mexican food which is expected, but apart from not being close to traditional the food had terrible flavor. It's not a place for people who are accustomed to eating traditional Mexican cuisine. In fact I don't recommend this place to anyone who is used to having any flavor in their food. Save yourself the trip I'm sure there are better places to eat in the area.
