We’ve loved Taco Veloz since we visited their first location down Federal. We waited a long time for the new location to open : ). Everyone is always so nice and a few of the employees remember us when we walk in. They always greet us and food is fantastic every time!
What an absolute gem of a place to dine, the atmosphere is casual but classy, the service is familiar (typical-order at the counter, get your own drinks and tableware and napkins, but, from there on the experience is one you will remember. If you're a traveler, you'll want to come back again for more great food and service, if you're a local you're sure to come back often, yummy, yummy, yummy ?.
The free chips and salsa you get at every Mexican restaurant costed almost $5 here and they burnt the chips. I wanted limon drink he said it had gone bad so I couldn't order it. The tacos were bleh. Very little meat and expensive. Didn't enjoy the drink, meal, appetizers or price. Went to tacos y salsas across the street immediately afterwards and got my free chips and a good carne asada taco.
Their salsa bar was cool and my friends enjoyed their meal but about 12 hours after my meal l spent the next 24 hours with food poisoning. I ordered the Chile rellenos and only ate half of one because they were oddly floating in cool grease (l think it was grease) which ran into my beans and rice. Plus there was mold on my tortillas! Never going back!
Excellent place to go for more authentic and tasty tacos. Not like your standard Americanized Mexican restaurant, so don't expect tortilla chips. They're salsa bar is incredible.
We went in really early and the staff that was there at the time were super friendly towards us . We ordered smother burritos and everything was so delicious , seasoning was on point too. La agua de horchata was so good . The restaurant itself was so clean inside and the parking too .
I was looking for restaurant that was open late, came across this restaurant. They are open till 3am!!!! The food was great and the same goes for the customer service. The food came out fast and the restaurant was extremely clean. I’m looking forward to trying something new at this place again.

Don't know how this place is so hyped. I tried their tacos, gorditas, and burrito--I definitely had better tacos and burrito elsewhere. Can't speak for the gorditas though I wasn't a big fan. The carne asada burrito I got was extremely salty, not a pleasant taste at all. I got a variety of tacos and only enjoyed the carne asada ones. The chicharron taco and gorditas I got were just inedible--so fatty and the pork rinds were basically so soggy. I would steer clear from their chicharron. The rest was fine, but like I said, I've had better tacos elsewhere so I will probably not come back.
