The food was okay, but the main problem was the service. Our server was Cathy and she was in a very foul mood (chose only to be kind when I completed the payment and it was time to fill out the tip). If we didn't respond quickly on what we wanted, she'd storm off and go to another table.From one server to another: I know how frustrating it is being short staffed. But at least HUSTLE. I exercise urgency where I work. It took forever for us to get our drinks and the service was still slow when the night was winding down. Being extremely rude in a uniform, even though we were being polite and patient, is the reason for this review. The service needs to heavily step up the kindness and professionalism.
We are regular customers here and Cathy and MOJO are absolutely amazing! Cathy is my favorite waitress of anywhere in the area. She is friendly and has always taken very good care of our family. MOJO is also a great server, who is very kind. The food never disappoints.
This location needs to either hire some people or close. Came in for lunch today at 1pm wait 5 mins to be seated. Not a big deal. Once seated we sat there for 20 mins without being served. Never even ordered drinks. And it is not busy, there were probably 3 other tables and a few parties in the bar area. Very pathetic. Don’t waste your time.
We have been long time customers of this restaurant and tonight was the absolute worst experience we have every had in a restaurant. The service was absolutely horrible. We came in at 6:45 with a party of 10. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. We were chastised because we didn’t call ahead. They set us up in a room that hadn’t been used for awhile. Once we were all seated we ordered drinks. When the drinks were brought in our server threw the straws at us and didn’t walk around and hand them. The drinks were given to the wrong person multiple times. The food came out in a timely manner and was good. Once the check arrived we were figuring out what everyone owed and the server proceeded to argue with us on running individual cards for the amounts we told her. My husband was trying to let her what amount was put on each card and she grabbed the receipt and said next time tell me ahead of time to separate the bill. She then tried to go back through the bill and find out what everyone had and tried to get the amounts even though we had already done it. She even shushed my husband when he was explaining what needed to happen. My husband ended up just putting the entire dinner on his card just to get out of the restaurant. She said thanks for that in a sarcastic tone. We have had the server multiple times and and even request her when we come in. Not again.

Service was fine but I have a problem with the menu and pricing.All I wanted was a steak burrito dinner but the closest on the menu is the steak and avocado @ $15+ but without avocado. The steak and cheese were the only toppings inside the burrito.I feel like I paid too much for cheap Mexican food here.
Our food was horrible. We had a party of 4, and all four of us had "dishes" that were inedible.- My fiance's enchiladas were crusty tortillas smothered in a lukewarm cheese sauce and dry cheese filling.- My best friend and my sister-in-law both ordered nachos that were inedible. The consistency between both orders of Nachos was woefully uncanny. The cheese was far from melted; toppings were a mess. Chilled lettuce was just thrown on top with cold ground beef akin to canned dog food and frigid sour cream slopped on all over.- The Mini Rellenos were cold and hard egg rolls stuffed with curdled cheese and green chili sauce due to the aforementioned temperature above.- Finally, my Carne Asadas garnish was an American blend salad mix bag with warm spinach, arugula, red cabbage, and don't forget the warm half-melted cheese on my cold tomato. My rice wasn't cooked thoroughly, so every bite, I had 1-2 grains that were hard and crunchy. En masse, the Asada was the best part of our meal, and it was medium-cooked rubber. Originally my dish was served without tortillas, and the black beans came in cold water.The only reason I'm giving TWO stars instead of One is that the manager/customer service was lovely. They were very kind, understanding and refunded all of our food 100% (which is good... Because we didn't eat it.)That said, our Bar Tab was _still_ almost $90, and we did NOT drink more than 6-7 drinks between the 4 of us.This was Saturday evening about 730-8pm, and the restaurant was at about 35% capacity.Maybe I'll go back and try again in a few months. Doubtful. I would need an incentive.Will update accordingly.

This place is awesome. Always consistent and service is good and fast! Happy Hour prices and selections are great. Cathy is usually our server and she makes a very visit perfect. Overall- a fantastic neighborhood restaurant, or a good destination, if you live in a different city! A+
