Easily some of the best donuts in all of Denver. With every time I’ve come here I’ve steadily bought more and more donuts because they’re that good. 10/10, well worth holding onto your cash for.
Literally the best doughnuts in the Denver Metro Area!! My mother has been going to this doughnut shop for lots of years, she's always said the doughnuts are delicious here at Carol Lee's... finally decided to give it a taste and was able to taste first hand what my Mama has been raving about all of these year's!
Carol Lee is the best donut shop in metro denver. Who ever says otherwise is just wrong. If you're sick of paying $7 for a mediokre donut covered in some breakfast cereal, you've come to the right place. The donuts are fresh, classic, old school traditional donuts, and most are a buck or under. Cash only, just how I like my bars. Tired of the yuppie wanna bee Luxory donuts, if you get there around 6am the donuts are still warm. Please, Please, Please don't listen to the reviews that say they aren't good, or aren't prepared right, those folks wouldnt know a could donut if it hit them right in the face.
DELICIOUS doughnuts and wonderful service. They're so kind here! I've gotten cash from ATMs specifically to go here multiple times. I can't recommend this place enough
Best donuts in town. The kids and I stop by on the way to school every Friday. I'm not lazy so I don't mind that its cash only. There's a 7-11 next door use the ATM, its worth it. Or but tissue for when you get about cash only.
Love this place. Donuts are not too sweet, which I like. And nicely cooked. You have to get in early on the weekends before they run out, and cash only! Donut holes are my favorite.
Prepare to pay with cash only!But such a lovely little small business. Some great tasting fresh donuts with some solid options. A dozen was $15 which isn't bad considering the size of some of the options. The donut holes are also quite good!
Great donuts!!! Best I’ve had in Colorado! There are a lot of donut shops and everything I’ve had is mediocre at best. These were absolutely great donuts. We came in at 11 on a Sunday expecting them to have a slim selection and knew they were a few hours old. They were so much better than we expected. Dough is soft and light, not too sweet. We got holes, regular glazed, cinnamon sugar crumble, blueberry cake, and an apple fritter. So impressed with this little shop. Strongly recommend!
The best donuts in town, hands down. Our family has been going here for years. I try to go early for best selection but you can't go wrong. Cash only however there is an atm next door @7-11 or at one of many banks in the area if you forget.
