On vacation in Colorado, decided to visit based on review from Netflix special Fresh, Fried, and Crispy - Denver. I had the almond crusted hogfish. It was ok, but I definitely had higher expectations. I was disappointed in the overall meal especially at the cost.
Excellent sea food, service, menu options, and you could take some home too!This is a family restaurant, originally from South of Florida, and they ship fresh fish daily from the keys.The Oysters are excellent.
Here for a casual dinner with family. Great atmosphere. Wonderful food! The Lobster Mac and Cheese was amazing! I'll definitely be coming back here soon.
Amazing place. Food was on point and service was outstanding. Jeffery was on top of things and made our first experience wonderful.
Love this spot. So glad they made it through the pandemic. Locally owned and operated for the last seven years and a hidden gem in Broomfield. Fresh seafood cooked to order including a fresh takeout option seafood market style. We waited an hour and it was worth it. No reservations for parties less than six. Weren’t offered napkins, silverware or plates until the second dish came out, which is reason for four stars. Chowder was good, fish dip always hits the spot and we shared the hogfish. A little too much breading for my taste but I can see why people like it.
My wife and I love seafood and have family in Maine, South Carolina and California. We love this restaurant. We can’t believe we can enjoy as good or sometimes better seafood dishes as we have had on either coast right here in landlocked Denver! It is a small restaurant and always packed for dinner but the staff does a great job turning over and we love the casual coastal decor. The servers are always nice and attentive as well. From Lobster rolls to Caribbean Snapper I haven’t had a bad dish. The Paella I had most recently was incredible as was the Ahi Poke Nachos. If you’re in North Denver and love seafood this is the place to be. Side Note: If Big Mac and Little Lu’s has too much of a wait and you like Sushi - Hana Matsuri is just across the parking lot and is just as excellent!
Met here for my friend's birthday. It was absolutely packed, we did have a reservation and were really happy we did. Only took a pic of a few dishes but the food was delicious ? service was great. We really enjoyed everything and the atmosphere. They also sell fresh seafood!
Everything was great! Blackberry Sangria was good. Fish tacos featured Mahi Mahi and they were very good as well! Island Beer mussels come with creole fries that were seasoned very well! Hot and crispy! The lobster roll was great and came with possibly the best homemade chips I've ever had! Key lime pie was incredible! Everything was great! Can't wait to try it again!
Really good seafood. Very much has a pier vibe. We got the shrimp po boy and the Lu Lu's sweet and spicy shrimp. The po boy was very good not too much of any one thing and made you want to unhinged your jaw to try to get more in. The sweet and spicy was exactly that, not too much of either one but enough heat that you should have a sip of water with each bite.
