Well unfortunately we had a bad experience for the second time at this place. Both occasions have been when ordering out. First time breakfast burritos were missing everything from salt to the sausage we asked for the burrito was just awful. Yet we kept going back to Taqueria El Compita because most other food was good. Well fast forward to today and we ordered a birria quesadilla- the quesadilla was placed in the to go container with the nice side up no burns no nothing looked great. Took our first bite ( it was a shared meal) and it was different not as good as the week prior when we ate in the restaurant. Despite the mediocre interior we stayed and ate there; again it's good food. So we are trying to figure out what the difference is and we turn the quesadilla over and it's completely burned on the other side. So the way they try to get by this is to flip the bad side on the container and the good side is all you see. Not good business when you have such good food. On top of that we called to complain and right away there is hesitation about doing anything to make it right. We were told they will call the manager to see if they can do anything about it. We get a call back and we are told they can't do anything about it because we ate the whole thing haha so you assumed because I told you I ate a piece that we ate the whole thing WOW ... OK so now I resort to THIS and post a review so anyone and everyone can see it. I'm sorry but if you do business like that in attempt to deceive your customers into thinking the meal they are about to eat is perfectly made then I guess you deserve to be called out. Enjoy my $16 now I will move on to google and Facebook next and all other platforms. Enjoy my picture and do a better job!
So thankful to finally have quality Mexican food near us. Sooooo good!!
Always good food. I had the Torta Cubana this time with smothered fries. It was huge and so so good! The employees are super nice and the service is very quick.
Quesabirria tacos. Amazing. I ordered some on a whim and I was blown away by how delicious they were. How did I never know this place existed? The beef and cheese sticking out was charred and amazing. The dip, has lime, beef broth, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and what, pure magic? Seriously- this dish haunted me for four days before I couldn’t handle it anymore and I ordered it again. I shared one with my friend and same thing- she couldn’t stop thinking about it. Highly recommend this place! The carne asada torta was great too. I can’t wait to try everything else! YUM
Came in for the 'Big' and the 'Caritas' Breakfast Burrito and this place did not disappoint. Their staff was friendly and the food was fresh. Caritas, red sauce, and tortillas was on point. Will be returning for more.
I have now been to this shop 2 times this week. Got the Macho Burrito the first time loved it so much I needed to share it with my wife so we got the Ham Breakfast Torta. The burrito is a good meal for people who needs a larger meal to get full. Tons of flavor and comes with some tasty salsas (Rojo and verde) some heat but not too much. The tortas were my favorite messy and delicious. Pleanty of food for a breakfast. Comes with fries and a fried jalapeno. Fries were meh but the sandwich was fire.
I love this place! This is our 3rd visit and it keeps getting better. I highly recommend their tacos! The family pack is a great deal. We’ve tried a bunch of other stuff, all delicious. They are very friendly and my order is always ready on time.
Food is delicious, Javier is an awesome owner and strives to have all customers happy and coming back for more addicting food.
There was a piece of metal in my wife's food and the steak for the fajitas was so hard I couldn't even chew it.
They serve the best breakfast burritos ever! I wish they could serve them all day.
