Our server was amazing, restaurant was clean. Only issue was when we ordered food to go. We ordered meatballs on top of pizza rolls and a dessert to take home. When we got home and decided to try the meatballs they were burnt! Not a little burnt like all the way burnt, black and dry. Not happy about that, other than that dine in exp was great.
Giving 2 stars because the food here is always great but the service is always terrible. Went in tonight and there were at lest 12 booths and tables open in the bar area but the lobby was packed with angry people waiting to be seated.We keep coming here because the location is great and the food is better. The problem with this place is the service has always sucked. It sucked a little less before Covid but now its just not worth going anymore. Very sad for us because we love this place but hate the service. Thanks
Been going here for over 10 years and food is always great.Last night I was blown away by the customer service. They were extremely busy but that didn’t take away from their care and smiles. Chris, the kitchen manager, was amazing. I knew he had a lot going on but that didn’t take away from the care he gave me. Thank you Chris and OC!
Adell was amazing! Service was wonderful even while she had no help. I saw management walking around but not assisting as they walked by tables to be bussed, food/drinks to be ran, etc. This would be a 5 star review for Adell, but management lowered the score. This is coming from a chef and server, so we know the drill!
This place used to be great. We have been waiting well over an hour for our food. There’s only one waitress in the dining area with a a lot of people. Should prepare staff better for dinner time and not run your employees to the ground.
First of all, we went to 120th and Sheridan a few months ago and it was awful... This location redeemed our faith in Old Chicago this visit. Food was on point, and our server, Adell was awesome! Very kind, very friendly, and very attentive. Thanks for the great visit!
First, I have never written a bad review in my life. I appreciate the work it takes to operate any restaurant and am always greatly appreciative. Sadly this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any restaurant. That wait staff was inattentive and overly distracted. We waited 50 minutes for a side salad, then after 1 hour and 15 minutes our pizza arrived. It was cold and not worth the time, we returned it and left. That’s an hour and a half of my life I will never get back. Maybe if we would have sat in the bar area it would have been a better experience. This place is in need of serious leadership!
We ordered the Italian Nachos there was no cheese only 3 pepperonis no Italian sausage, so we ordered the crafted beer burger and it was not good either. We are not coming back.
I know everyone is short staffed so the wait was what I expected. Food took longer than normal to get but I was ok with that. My wife ordered a pineapple pizza which came out as pepperoni. We sent it back. The redo pizza came back and literally looked like someone ate all the dough underneath. It was soggy and unedible. Pretty disappointing
Just moved here, was excited to go to Old Chicago's... This one isn't like most. I was greeted by a cranky old host who unapologetically told me they just took their last call for food and alcohol... A full hour before close. Rediculous. I definitely won't plan to eat here again and maybe not Old Chicago's in general. They clearly don't want much money.
