Not many options around here and this looked like the better Mexican restaurant. I had the Large Combination Plate and it was filling that I couldn't finish. The house margarita was great and the service was quick and friendly.
Peach margarita was amazing. I am a Green Chile fanatic and I think they have some of the best in the city. Wish I lived in Denver because we would visit this restaurant on the regular. Bought a quart of the Chile to take back to KC with me. Should have grabbed a gallon!
Welcoming environment-When we arrived there was an employee on break, he kindly greeted us as we walked in. Then as soon as we got in, we were acknowledged and able to sit down. Loved the decor inside and you can see the staff takes pride in this establishment and keeps it very clean. We got our food and drinks and were checked on throughout our meal. Empty glasses offered to be refilled right away. Food came hot and fresh and was delicious. I would recommend to friends and family and will happily come back in.
Always a great experience! Food is always super delicious you can literally pick anything from the menu an it will always be great! Love the service as well friendly staff especially Pao Miguel miss my old waitress Tiara she was the best.
La Botana is one of my favorite local Mexican food restaurants. I enjoy the bit of heat in the green chili. Not too spicy, just right. And consistently good. My favorite dish is the crispy chili rellenos. Actually, in full disclosure that is the only dish I have tried. I just really like chili rellenos!Other friends and family members have ordered their burritos and other dishes and have enjoyed all of them.The margaritas are good as well.The staff is friendly and will answer questions about the menu for those unfamiliar with some of the dishes.The restaurant itself is clean.This is a good option if you are craving Mexican food in the north Denver area.
Very authentic Mexican food. Been going there for the last 10 years. Great food, great prices and very quick service and the staff is outstanding and friendly. You want really good Mexican food try this place.
We've eaten at la botana many times, it's not far from our house. We both had carne asada. It was very, very good. It had been a while, due to the pandemic, since we had been there. In anticipation of our visit I looked at the reviews. Goodness! There were several negative reviews. This surprised me and honestly it did give me a little apprehension about our visit. But our visit was great. The server was pleasant but not overwhelming food as I mentioned above was very, very good. I have to admit la botana is not my #1 "go to" Mexican restaurant but it's a very close second.

The Staff Were Amazing And Friendly, The Food & Drinks Were Delicious. They Were Able To Accommodate For 20 Ppl Walking In With No Reservation Which We Greatly Appreciated! The restaurant was clean and food was delicious. I have to point out the Miguel was absolutely amazing. He got me seated right away with no wait got whatever I ask for immediately with extremely fast accuracy. I never in my life had service this good. I will be coming back on a regular and extremely recommend coming here. This place is absolutely amazing if I could give it more stars I would. 1000/1000
