This place was a welcome stop after the crazy of downtown Denver.Great food- pork chops & scrambled eggs & scrambled skillet.Great service.Great 50s style diner
Absolutely terrible service. The staff sat at the bar and never followed up. Never delivered my requested mayo. False advertising in their menu about their buy a burger at full price get another burger for equal or lesser value for only $1. Our waitress convinced us to get that and it was only valid IF you bought a drink as well, not water. Took her 7 minutes to check our family out after me and the kids walked to the vehicle and my husband sat alone at the table waiting to check out and he had to go to her, the manager, and 2 other staff hanging out at the bar. The waitresses excuse was "Oh I didnt know that, I'm new!" So we just a lot more money based off her recommendation! Food was mediocre. Except chicken strips.. They were amazing!
Good food and good times! Kiddo enjoyed it just as much as wife and I did. Waitress on duty (never got her name) was only one on when we went this morning and she was busting her a** to get everybody taken care in a timely manner. She did wonderful and we were grateful for her! Kuddos to you!
I’ve been coming here since the store opened and the food and staff are fantastic. It’s a nice place to bring friends and family. I had the Chili Relleno breakfast today which really hit the spot. My server, Crystal, was attentive and cordial which is always a plus and makes you want to return.
Well this little gem was surprising. The waitress was great, very friendly. The decor very cool. I will say as far as the food goes it was good. My only issue was i had biscuits and gravy. They were so hard and over microwaved the waitress took it to the very visible cook, who just turned around and did the exact same thing with the next one. So i just took it off my meal. We live nowhere in the area. But i would stop again. Just making sure i don't order microwavable food ?
Delicious and yummy. I got everything I asked for. My bun was a little harder that I'd like. But it didn't change my experience. Definitely brought me some good memories since I had not been there in years. Keep it up :)
Nice 50s themed restaurant with selection of shakes, burgers, and misc other items. Place seemed little run down but got pretty busy as the evening went on. Burger was good, nothing extraordinary but sufficient. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, efficient burger with an old time feel inside - this is where it's at ?
Food not fully cooked. Restaurant is the dirtiest place I've even eaten at... cant imagine how dirty the grill is... stay clear unless you like toying with getting sick!
Gunther Toody's has always been a great diner to go to so I don't know if they were having an off day or not. We came in for a late breakfast expecting the normal great service but sadly we were met with waiting on our food for almost an hour while we watched others around us get their food before us. Once we finally got our food it was delicious as always and our waitress was extremely friendly and nice.
The wife and I stopped here for a quick dinner. We had so much fun. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff were very friendly. Our waitress, "Frenchie" was super sweet and helpful.I had some monstrosity of a sandwich....LIke, it was two pieces of French Toast with shaved ham in between and covered with an over easy egg. DELICIOUS!But then again, I'm a little heifer, so I like pretty much anything that is placed in front of me.
