Service took super long and it wasn't the first time I've been there. Also everytime I've been there it wasn't super busy, I get when it's busy and it takes awhile.Sat at the bar and didn't get greeted for 15 minutes, ordered drinks, didn't get them waited another 10 for someone else to take our drink order. There were only 3 of us and they took our order one at a time (we just wanted beers). The food is good but if you want to be in and out with drinks and maybe an app don't go there.
The menu is so extensive touching on food influences from Mazatlán to Tampico or Monterrey to Villahermosa. Their drinks are large and not priced fairly. The bar and the set up makes for a great atmosphere. We enjoyed a large plate of enchiladas along with an absolutely delicious dish of Puerco Asado! Most of all the service and kindness of the whole staff was fantastic!
Walking down mainstream and decided on a drink and appetizer. Ordered an awesome Tequila and guacamole!!

Wonderful experience every time. Their menu is multifaceted with nice tapas and big flavorful dinners. Mexican music is always playing and setting the atmosphere. The wait staff are genuine and wonderful, as they are always at your attention. One if the best eating places in downtown Steamboat.
Was a perfect late evening meal to follow time at the hot springs. The best chipotle burrito I’ve ever had, great friendly service, really good chips and salsa (which carries the most weight in a review). Full on recommend this place!
Not sure how this place has a 5 star rating? The food was on par with Mexican food in Wichita KS and it was a bit over priced. Then we were ready to leave we asked to have the check split up. We were told they can't split the check. It is the 21st century, how is that not possible? Be warned. I don't think I would waste my time.

The food is not good and very bland. It is not worth the price. Service was slow. Many other options minutes away that would be worth your time and money, unfortunately this is not one of them.
My wife and I ate dinner at Vaqueros one night while on vacation in Steamboat. They were really crowded but had room at the bar so we sat there and had a wonderful time. The bartender made great margaritas, the food was superb and it was a fun evening.
