Food itself is mediocre at best and overpriced even for Steamboat resort.Staff is rude, confrontational, and inconsistent. They charge a "take-out surcharge" when ordering to go....but only sometimes apparently. When calmly asking about this 20% fluctuation in price, the woman with a septum piercing became very agitated and confrontational.The idea of charging extra for to-go orders is ludicrous.
Not inexpensive ($48 for two sandwiches + homemade chips + two drinks), but the sandwiches were delicious and very generous portions. We split the chips and should have shared a sandwich. Wonderful toasted sourdough bread.
We both had the chilaquiles and they were excellent...much more than we could possibly eat. Loved the ambiance and the service from Jamie was excellent! We'll be back!
Everything I've tried on the menu so far is delicious. Can't go wrong going here.
If location is everything, The Paramount wins for that. Otherwise, it's huge portions of somewhat decent food. But the staff was friendly, food came out fairly quick, and after spending $110 for four of us, we were in and out within 30min. Probably would only go there again if I was already in the Village and grabbing something quick.
Good vibe when it's not busy, food is good at a good price but won't blow your mind, drinks are average and there are a small selection. Hours are short, and you have to wait in a line to order that's often long. Unfortunately it's often overrun with children.
Friendly staff. Almond latte was tasty; chocolate chip pancakes were delicious! Highly recommend for your breakfast stop
Not sure how I have missed stopping into this place during my many trips to Steamboat. I certainly was missing out on great food and friendly service. I have now been three times in four days. Breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong. In addition to the great food and service the inside restaurant space has a clean, warm and welcoming feel.
