We went at 8 on a Thursday night and Nate was running around, trying all he could. The other girl was trying to keep up with glasses, dishes and bring out food, but so understaffed. The chicken fingers horribly over cooked, rubber and burned on the outside. We felt so bad for them we just payed out and left. Nate was trying.

If you haven't been to OTP lately, a lot of subtle changes have happened under the new ownership. You will love: warm & inviting atmosphere, great pub food, quick/friendly service, lively crowd, rubbing arms with locals, great tunes. Later in the evening, there's often live music a few nights a week (check the website). The new owner is passionate about good service, good food, great vibes. Try it, you'll like it!

This place is excellent! We visited SS for 7 days and tried many of the higher end restaurants. We found many to be pretentious and overpriced. Not the Old Town Pub. As soon as we walked in, it felt warm and welcoming. Historic old building, hard working staff, great atmosphere, excellent food and reasonable prices. The hostess, Ayla, was also taking orders and serving, but she didn't miss a beat - she was fantastic! The entire staff really hustled to get people served. The food was served hot and fresh. My wife had the chicken Infamy bowl and I had the Tuesday prime rib special - both expertly prepared and served and both delicious! We also tried the cheese curds, a house specialty and we were not disappointed. Served homemade, hot and delicious. When visiting Steamboat, we highly recommend you spend an evening here.

Must eat! Portions are a great size and the nachos were fantastic. About 10-15 a person but worth every dime. The atmosphere is great as well, everyone is so so nice and it’s a great break from the cold.

This place is so cool. I believe it's been the same property since 1901, and you feel it walking in. Food was great, staff was super friendly, loved the building and the history, pretty decent night life scene as well.

By far the best place to eat in town. I know what you are thinking because I thought it too... "How could a pub have the best food in town"? Well, it was my experience the week I spent in Steamboat of Dec. 2021. I ate at a dozen places that week and ate here twice because my first experience blew me away and so did my second experience. I highly recommend their Pot Roast dinner and their Pittsburgh Sandwich. I also commend their kitchen for making the chocolate chip bread pudding as a desert. You got to have balls to serve bread pudding in any establishment. This Pub did it, and it was amazing! The servers were good, but the cooks really deserve credit for me making this my favorite place to eat in Steamboat.

Show up early if you can and avoid the cover charge. Awesome there is a stage big enough for a band. Fair drink pricing. $15 for top shelf Scotch. Good dance floor lights except for the cheap lasers that shoot directly in your eyes when active. Good sound for Steamboat. Thanks!

The host Evelyn was absolutely fantastic, so warm and welcoming! Would definitely visit again, the food was really delicious and fresh! Do try their French onion soup. They even made a customized grilled cheese for me! Definitely recommend it!

I don't know why i entitled this the way i did but the title not only is unique, it sort of paves the way for me to write almost whatever comes to mind. if only i had a mind today. and so -- yes, the place is a bit rowdy and lively in the evening -- but service is practically spontaneous and the three of us had excellent meals, and beer, and bumped into an acquaintance we met in Oregon some time back at an adjacent table.

OTP is a great place to hang out and grab drinks and food. The live music is always awesome! Although, last night November 19th I was harassed by one of the male bartenders while trying to fix my bill. I was charged a $10 cover for the band, which was totally fine. Throughout the night, my friends had gotten me a drink so I never went up to the bar at all for anything until I got my bill at the end of the night from the bar. It should only be $10 was my thoughts but I was overcharged. I told a female bartender and she was nice about it but then the male bartender came and was telling me “ no no, you need to pay for this, sign it” and I was like okay no that’s not happening. And so he kept trying to convince me that I had ordered a Jim Bean shot and also suggested I needed more drinks and tried to also suggest that the drink in front of me was mine but it was just some random drink that someone left at the bar. He very rude. All I was trying to do was sort my bill out. It’s not fair to be overcharged. He assumed I was drunk and unknowledgeable but I was not. Please make sure to use cash here and to always check your bill, it’s your money not theirs.
