This place is pretty good! I would come back the next time I visit Steamboat. My husband and I ordered and split a shepherd's pie and a side of asparagus. It was delicious-- and I'm glad we split it, because the pie was a HUGE serving, especially for lunch. Our friends ordered seafood and enjoyed it. The restaurant was cute and clean, and they have a nice patio area off main street. Very pretty and green. We could hear the chefs yelling at each other from our table and the waitress didn't give us her name, didn't seem thrilled to be there-- but those would be my only complaints. Delicious and an overall nice lunch!

A group of 5 adults, 1 kid, and 2 dogs stopped in for lunch. The location nearby the river was perfect for our Steamboat Springs strolling that day. They had water on the shaded patio in the back for the dogs, great service, and the food was delicious. A couple orders of fish & chips with huge portions, very crispy breading. A couple reubens also were prepared with the corned beef chopped and moist. We would most definitely come back to eat here on another trip to Steamboat.

We look forward to eating here when we’re in town. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and nice outdoor seating. We sat on the front patio and had a very enjoyable dinner. Started with the giant pretzel app- so good! Lots of variety on the menu but we always go back to their lobster roll (make sure to ask the MP before you order!). Nice kids menu too. We’re not big drinkers but they do have a good happy hour til 5:30. And they do take reservations which is especially necessary during the weekends.

We ate outside and the weather was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their food: Irish mac n cheese, lobster mac, fish and chips, smoked salmon BLT and reuben. Note to self: explain to kids that MP on the menu means market price. We were surprised that the lobster mac ended up being $32.

Our server, Heather, is a remarkable asset to you restaurant. She has served us on more than one occasion and I felt it time to recognize her charm, knowledge and attention to detail. My wife's salad, Heather's recommendation, was superb. My fish and chip were good. The Kilkenny was excellent.

Excellent friendly service and delicious food and beverages. Husband had fried chicken sandwich, side pub salad, and I had a Reuben and side pub salad - both were huge and yummy! Lots of TV's if you're a sports lover. Only downside was that it was freezing cold in there tonite and the other time we were there earlier this week also, otherwise would be 5 stars.

This place was gross, table, glassware not clean, ( see picture) garden hose and dog bowl right next to our table; lots of crumbs and debris all over the deck, Not swept. There were 3 of us. We ordered the "homemade " cheddar biscuits. They came out like biscuit croutons, dry hot on the outside cold in the center. A definite reheat. Not fresh made. I'm not sure what the spread for the biscuits was but It had a grainy texture like it had been sitting uncovered in the fridge since earlier in the day before service. We sent it back.We ordered the melon salad the kale salad and the fish and chips. Kale salad was literally a big handful of rough, huge inedible pieces of kale; lots of which was discolored and gross (see pics) and a few berries. They did sub the blue cheese for feta which we appreciated, the melon salad was super boring; they forgot the dressing. The grilled chicken on the salad was ok ; very thin maybe 5oz. But was not dry.The fish and chips were a 2 out of 10. The fish was good;everything else was awful. Fries way over cooked and dry. Slaw had a weird tinge to it like it was made at the beginning of the week. didn't touch it as the first bite stung the roof of my mouth The lemon wedges must have been cut a few days ago. Dried out and full of seeds. I Didn't touch them.I considered putting ketchup on the fries until I saw the ketchup bottle. Gross (see picture)did I mention they forgot to bring us silverware..... It took them 15 minutes to get Me a drink. I ordered a Guinness, not what I received. I have drank more than my fair share of Guinness, that creamy nitro, bread in a bottle beer came to me as beer flavored seltzer water. I didn't finish it.At this point it wasn't worth sending back. Blah....let's talk about our service. I spent over a decade running restaurants. This place is understaffed. Food runner was very green, but was trying. Our waitress was clearly spread thin, as she verbally expressed to us. I get it, but we went out for a reason, company politics should not enter our earshot; hospitality 101. It took me 15 minutes to pay my bill. I tip on service which I didn't receive; my tip reflected that.I truly strive to write honest reviews. I'm not looking to bash anyone. I did (reluctantly) pay for this food. With that being said I would NEVER go back. Honestly the attitude we received from the staff walking in to the establishment should have been a red flag. I guess I'm getting soft. Choose a different place. Cheers

We were here on St. Patrick’s Day and sat outside on the patio for lunch. Service was great, super friendly. Live bagpipe player throughout the afternoon. Best bloody Mary’s we’ve ever had. Fish & chips were absolutely incredible. Corned beef and cabbage was unique and flavorful. Lobster Mac & cheese had us all in a food coma for the rest of the day. We’re foodies who appreciate attention to detail, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavors. ONeil’s was the best food in Steamboat we had! Wish we had this food back home in St. Louis! I’m still talking about the fish & chips.

Came here 3 out of the 5 days we were in Steamboat. Fun atmosphere, great drink choices and friendly staff. Oh, and the best fish & chips, period! To get the inside so tender and flaky while maintaining the crisp exterior is a talent. Delish!

Stopped one afternoon for an appetizer and drink. Nice vibe tons of TVs for watching Olympics (that day).
