We had a great experience. Everyone from the bartenders to the waitstaff were accommodating and had great suggestions. Bartenders were engaging and friendly. We had Josh for our waiter, he worked so hard to make things perfect. The Food runner was Isaiah. He informed us of all the ingredients of each plate that was served, so professional. All in all everyone we met made our night perfect. Thank you to all at Laundry!
Definitely not the typical steamboat restaurant, it’s very busy and fast paced. The conversations buzzing and the place filled to the brim give it a lively feel. But once you have the food you can understand why it’s always so busy! We ordered the bison carpaccio and the flavors were the perfect mix!!!! The wagyu was good, but it still could of used more seasoning. Overall great place to eat for dinner and to have conversation.
I recently visited The Laundry in Steamboat with a large party. We were lucky to have Nevin as our waiter. Our large party meant we could try every tapas on the menu. That was incredible. We enjoyed every single one. We allowed Nevin to select the ingredients for two charcuterie boards. He did not disappoint. Nevin has absolute passion and knowledge about Laundry’s menu and wine pairing. His recommendations were spot on. Our experience was memorable and decadent. Tell Nevin hi for me when you visit.
This was excellent! Sat @ the bar & was fully attended to by Josh. The food was amazing, the atmisphere cozy & ckean, and the staff, personable and professional.! We'll be back.
We have been to Laundry every we have visited Steamboat and have always loved it. This visit was no exception. We sat in our favorite spot- an alcove towards the back of the restaurant. We had Heather as our server and she did a great job of looking after us. All of the food we had was delicious and priced appropriately.
My cousin and I had a reunion on the ski slopes at Steamboat Springs, CO. For my birthday, we celebrated at the Laundry Restaurant over cocktails and dinner. The Laundry is in a convivial, historic setting in the Soda Creek Building which was indeed the Steamboat Laundry from 1910 to 1977 but now serves tasty modern cuisine that is exquisitely crafted and presented. We had the Chef's Choice tasting menu that started with a delicious Smoked Trout and Alpenbert Cheese, followed by Baby Kale, Pow Pow Shrimp, Artichoke Hearts and the main entree of Wagyu Beef and Bluefin Tuna. In the height of a busy dinner hour, our service was gracious and accommodating to our leasurely dining. We were served by a very attentive waitstaff.
Fantastic atmosphere and great food
AMAZING food! Really different cuisine but everything is so incredibly good! Great staff and wonderful ambiance!! Definitely worth reservations but make it way in advance because it's a super popular place.
Great food and quality service. Small plates were very filling. Recommend bison and venison dishes.
All the food was elevated and delicious! Going to be hard to find a better place in steamboat.
