once in a lifetime private dining experience. you are escorted to a cute little wine cellar to eat. favorite dishes were the oysters and french onion soup. this is a must visit if you are in steamboat springs, but prepare for a pricey meal.
This was our third dinner at Harwigs and we've experienced the same things each time: genuine, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable servers and sommeliers, excellent wine selection, creative cocktails, expertly prepared and indescribably delicious small plates, entrées and desserts. Harwigs is the gem of Steamboat and truly one of the best restaurants in Colorado. It is comparable to the amazing restaurants we've enjoyed in Paris. We are very much looking forward to our next dinner at Harwigs!
Hands down the best food in the area! The culinary team here works magic and I can't wait to revisit! A must visit!

The food that JJ creates is incredible! He is so talented and can cater to ANY dietary restrictions in the most DELICIOUS manner. He spent 3 days catering an event for a myself a group of friends and his meals MADE the trip! Thnx JJ for a culiary experience!
We had Harwigs cater our wedding of 70 people at Perry Mansfield in Steamboat and I could not have asked for a more perfect restaurant to do so! Not only was the food absolutely incredible, the staff were all amazing, caring, and hardworking people. I also had a great experience working with the chef, JJ in the planning process. I highly recommend them for catering needs, or just a nice dinner out in Steamboat!
We had such a lovely private business group dinner at Harwigs. Beautiful atmosphere, incredible food and drinks. JJ was a delight to work with to create a special evening for us.
Very limited menu. About 4 or 5 choices and prices were not good... only steak on the menu was 74 bucks. Pass on this one.

Harwigs has always been our favorite. The incredible food, amazing wine selection, welcoming staff and private dining room are epic. The best French onion soup in the world. Such a great experience for special occasions. Highly recommend gem in Steamboat!
