The mountain style is not quite thin crust and not quite deep dish. The crust is rolled to hold in the ingredients which leaves you a massive amount of crust on the edges. They offer honey to make those edges a little more palatible. Like almost everywhere in Steamboat, the prices are a bit hight.

So incredibly mediocre. I ordered a calzone after looking at their menu thinking, wow look at all these interesting specialty pizzas but this calzone had a couple of issues. The dough was bland as all hell and kind of reminded me of eating toasted wonderbread, and the ground beef inside was not seasoned.I won't be ordering again.

Was super hyped to try this place and it was good. Caesar salad was great and our pizza was good. I personally would have enjoyed the thinner crust, but my boyfriend loved the extra dough. Clean restaurant and we were treated very nicely. I would go back and recommend to try to others.

Best pizza ever! Don’t shy away from The HONEY! Delicious!

I came across Mrs Kimberly Louis when she appeared as a guest on a Forex Podcast in USA. I was listening to and was very impressed with her straight forward approach and the principles of her trading strategy. My heart then told me to invest $1000 with her company as a trial. I was able to withdraw a profit of $12,600 after 7 days. Mrs Kimberly Louis make this possible, do well and reach out to her for a secure investment too. Beau Jo's is a special place for our family. We often stopped to enjoy their pizza in Idaho Springs, and I was very happy to find out that they opened a restaurant in Steamboat. We ate there last night, and 3 lb pie, large, and it was wonderful, exactly as we remembered. The Steamboat restaurant has a ways to go to match the atmosphere of the Idaho Springs store, but it was a treat just the same! I hope they stick around for us to enjoy when we visit Steamboat again.

Be warned! A large specialty prairie pie for ~$30 is ONLY 13”. It does state this on the menu, but we overlooked this and were very disappointed when we picked up our 2 pies for takeout. We usually dine in at the Idaho Springs location and order the same thing, large prairie pie, and have never felt that it was too small. Not sure if they make them bigger when you dine in?!? Most pizza restaurants larges are at least 16-18”. For the price Beau Jo’s charges, they should consider increasing the size. Luckily, the taste was similar which we do like so we were happy with that at least.

If I had been able to dine in tonight, we could have solved some of the issues with our server most likely. But for anyone doing pickup or delivery, please read on to avoid the issues I share. Pizza had potential, but ... We ordered 3 items through UberEats (none of this is an UberEats issue): pizza (forget menu name, but essentially a supreme), chicken tenders, and honey cheesy bread. First, you order a pizza and can decide to add 'pounds' - who orders pizza by the pound?!? Our mistake thinking the default $16 pizza was a reasonable size, but was 10 inches, with massive crust shrinking the actual area with ingredients to -- wait for it -- 4" diameter circle (we measured - think English muffin size). Those 4" were tasty (the Good for taste and the Bad for ingredients portion, so small a 5-year old wondered where was the 'pizza' ). Honey Cheesy Bread, was good (more Good) - the only item that lived up to any expectation of reasonable size and taste. The chicken tenders were the most awful excuse for a chicken product in my life, seconded by my teenage son who got away with some colorful language on this occasion. For those of you who remember the old McDonald's nuggets before they upgraded - the inside looked like a sponge, totally processed goo, with an exterior crust that looked as bad as it tasted. They were small, tasteless, cold, and hands down the worst chicken product we've ever tried, whether from a restaurant, fast food, or freezer bag (the Sketchy - calling them chicken). I would not recommend this place. But if you do go, stick with the pizza and make sure you order with multiple extra pounds of ingredients. You will probably like the pizza, but whatever you do avoid the pathetic excuse for chicken tenders.

Beau Jo's Christmas Eve! The staff was super friendly considering when they had to work. The pizza was amazing with a thick dough crust and generous toppings along with honey for the crust. We enjoyed the experience and would go back again.

Pretty solid pies. The mountain style crust was so good. And they give you honey to add on it and it’s incredible! Taking that idea back with me. Also, the service was incredible.
