We ate here twice after a long day of flying and after a 3 hr hike!!! Burgers are the best and so amazing!! All the sides are great!!! Truffle Parmesan fries were really good but enjoyed them most because my hubby had tator tots and I stole some of his for a different taste once and a while. LOVED BACK DOOT and guaranteed we’ll be back on our next trip to Steamboat!!!
We both had John Wayne burgers and happy hour drinks. The burgers were excellent and the curly fries were perfect. There was too much to finish! We sat outside in the shade and it was wonderful. Great service from Gaby topped off this great experience!
Abby is wonderful, very educational and informative on menu and drinks. Bison burgers are delicious and tater tots complete a wonderful dinner.
We visited on a friends recommendation and were so glad we did! Delicious burgers - the "G6" burger is our favorite. Service was very good and friendly. The onion rings were a hit too!
Excellent food! I had the Elmer Fudd burger with onion rings. Carolina perfection. , pulled pork, onion ring, slaw and BBQ sauce all on a burger cooked medium on a brioche bun. Delightful . My hubby had the Flash Gordon burger...hot chetoes, jalapeño jelly on a burger cooked medium on a brioche bun. The service was QUICK and the food was delicious.
Outstanding and creative burgers, chicken sandwiches and sweet potato fries and curly fries. Great, friendly service in a fun atmosphere.
Pretty crowded on a Saturday of the President's day weekend - waited about 30 min for a party of 4. Downstairs is a regular restaurant and upstairs it is more like a bar (which was pretty busy. There's a takeout window on the side of the building. The host recommended their classic double as their best traditional burger on the menu. Their dirty Harry is their famous burger on a glazed donut. The G4, Elmer Fudd, and the cheese steak are all excellent. The coupon book from my hotel has a coupon for this restaurant - buy 2 burgers and get a 3rd free.
Another visit to Back Door Grill and another great experience. Quick and friendly service and really tasty burgers. Loved it!
We read some reviews and they were good. In a review the recommendation was go early because the restaurant gets full fast. We walked right in got a table the waiter came over took our orders and the food was there fast, we were not rushed and had a few extra drinks. We ordered cheese burgers and a chicken sandwich, we had side salads 2 bucks with our burgers and it was huge. The food was excellent and the waiter was spot on. I would go again.
This place lived up to the hype. Definite dive bar feel with the dollar bills stapled to the walls and the tight seating. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Star of the show is the burger. Smashed patties with crispy edges, melted cheese, a great bun, and all the fixings. Did not try the many "new school" burgers, but I would definitely come back to give them a go (Elmer Fudd, I'm coming). They had salads, sandwiches, and more in case you aren't in a burger mood. The handcut fries and fresh onion rings are also terrific Must visit spot while in Steamboat.
