Excellent sashimi and, of course, sushi prepared by professional sushi chefs. Exceptionally generous servings and efficient friendly and helpful service staff. Beautifully created artistic quality preparation. You surely won't depart hungry, only joyously happy.
A very good place to get sushi. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is very friendly. The owner and staff are excellent. The food is out of this world and very reasonable

Amazing food, amazing service! The food was incredible and tasty af. The service was upbeat and helpful. He consistently checked on us and made sure we were taken care of.Will definitely make this our go-to sushi place!
I had not been to Tsunami in over a year. Apparently a lot has changed. I should have been tipped off when it was lunch time and the restaurant was empty. I used to go in a lot when I worked down the street and the place was always busy. I was also shocked when I got my bill. The prices have gone way up and the food left a lot to be desired. I didn’t know they have new ownership until i came to look at reviews but it is definitely not the same place I remember.
Want Sushi while in the mountains? this place has a good variety or different types of fish, as well as vegetarian offerings. Miso soup was really good as well. I wish there Wasabi was better, but it did not take away from how good this was.
The people there are very friendly. Unfortunately they aren't that competent. Our first clue was when our server announced that drinks were not on the menu as he came for our drink order. Our second clue was when we ordered some gyoza as an appetizer. Our server brought it out, set it on the table and hurried away. I got up and followed him to the server's area to get some small plates to eat our dumplings on. He was apologetic. As for the actual sushi, I can tell you that the King Roll is not recognizable as a roll. It looked like sloppy rice nachos when it hit the table. Buried under an eclectic collection of fish were chunks of a roll, but they were annoying to dig out. The nigiri sushi was bizarre. The fish was refrigerator cold, like 35F. We couldn't really taste it. It came on chunks of rice that didn't hold together well. Proper sushi has fish at room temperature and rice at body temperature. I don't mind it slightly cooler, but this was obnoxiously cold. Everyone was so nice there that we didn't make a fuss, but we'll never go back. If you want sushi in Pueblo, go to Blue Ocean instead.
Sushi was delicious. Our server was awesome. And my company was delightful. She had never ate sushi prior to this meal and she loved it. Asked to go back even. We will!
So... A really basic sushi order here is waaaaay overpriced. This was just a plain Unagi hand roll... ($8) And an order of spider rolls ($13).(Usually a full unagi roll, with 8 pieces, about twice the size, is about the same price at most restaurants.)It was mediocre food, and very overpriced for what you get.I mean... Maybe this is good for Pueblo, but not for other areas in the country...
The atmosphere is pleasant and the sushi is delicious.
