Such an amazing experience with excellent hospitality. My stomach started bothering me and they were super accommodating. To me they went above and beyond. Made excellent recommendations and made sure my family and I were happy. Surprised my step mom with a birthday surprise. Food was excellent. Highly recommend!!!
Went last night for my birthday dinner and it was a total blast! We sat across from a family who was also there for their son’s birthday and we were all entertained by the chef who was outstanding! The place is clean, very friendly, and overall just a great experience! Will be back for sure
Suehiro is consistently amazing. Everything o e ever had here has been fantastic. I've had their sushi on many occasions but tonight tried their teppanyaki for the first time and was blown away. I love the ambiance, the owner is so sweet, and the staff are fantastic.
Well this one's kind of a tough one. My family goes out to eat once a year for my little sister that does birthday. We only go to somewhere special to our family and this place goes above and beyond at making sure we have a good time. The chef always lightens the mood and does amazing fun stuff and gets us interacting with him. The rib eye steak and shrimp was awesome.
Great experience, best food in pueblo. Our total was $70 for 2, which we find reasonable for hibachi. Kanoah was careful to interact with everybody at the table. Make sure you make reservations if you want the hibachi grill experience. Family owned with every member represented which was cool.
The food was amazingly good and the service was just as good! The lady I believe was the owner treated us like she's known us forever, very welcoming! Our chef Noah did an exceptional job, from the food to the service we were very impressed and will definitely be returning along with our friends from out of town who also shared this great experience!
Wow! I just love this great place. It's under new ownership. Noah is in his twenties and learned to cook from his Mother who is on hand most days. Noah bends over backwards to make your dinner a true memorable experience. Their food is fresh and if you leave hungry we'll you probably haven't eaten in a while. Parking is good and their hours are almost all day. I have all ways enjoyed Suehiro's but it's on a new level. Thanks for reading!
Had an amazing time here with my family! The service was phenomenal and the food was good, really enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately the next day my family all got sick vomiting and everything else that comes with food poisoning. The whole house was miserable. Not putting the full blame on them because we don’t know if they got a bad batch of products or if they’re not being sanitary. Just an awareness post.
We have been coming to suehiro for about 12 years. Just recently the business switched owners. We were sad to see the past owners go but I will say the new owners run it as a family business: Dad, Mom, two sons. We absolutely loved the past owners. They had been running the business for so long and were ready to retire that I will say they didn't put the excitement into the hibachi grill like others do. However, the new owners have brought that back. Think, "The flaming volcano", "smiley face that they light on fire", throwing food to the diners, little plastic guy that "pees" on the fire to put it out, etc. It is a LOT of fun again!! I always enjoyed the food but now my kids enjoy the atmosphere so it's a win for both now. Food consists of either eating hibachi style (where they grill your food in front of you) or you can sit at regular tables without all the extra "fun". Meals consist of miso soup, salads with an amazing dressing (no longer the orange ginger but a white dressing). Some past reviews stated the meals were small. I'm not sure what they are talking about bc every time we've went, there is always food leftover. They give so much we never finish it all. We usually order the ribeye steak (again comes with soup, salad, fried rice with egg mixed in), veggies such as mushroom, Brussels sprouts, squash, all mixed. It's so yummy and again, there's a lot! You CAN always say you want extra rice or whatever and they'll absolutely give it to you. My husband orders the ribeye with lobster, also we get sushi and edamame as a side. Love the Las Vegas roll. We also sometimes get steak and shrimp. Again it's cooked in front of you with all the fun and flare of Vegas hibachi grills (think Benihana) We 100% recommend reservations just bc the new owners are really trying to cater to each group or table and not just pack them in. They care about your food, experience, and that you leave satisfied. The tip is now not included. It always was with the last owners and they didn't ever tell anyone which could upset someone bc the meals aren't on the cheap side. Because you are getting essentially a 4 course meal it runs about 20.00-30.00 per person. And that is with our sides of edamame, sushi, drinks and then the actual meal. We love this restaurant and although it is hidden away from the main roads, it's worth the visit! We've traveled the U.S. going to sushi/hibachi places all over (think Seattle, Disneyworld, Las Vegas, etc) and this one is still one of our top pics! If you love hibachi and sushi, give this one a try! And the son that grills for you, he's super kind, entertaining and does a terrific job as your chef!
If I could give 10 stars, I would. Our first time here and everything exceeded any and all expectations we had. The California roll was to die for. The chicken teriyaki bowl was amazing. We are definitely planning our return visit.
