Took the kids love the old fashioned ice cream ? stand and snacks. Dipped soft serve. Vanilla chocolate or a twist, a few dip choices
Ok, we stopped here on a cross country trip. Two of the group had Helio's a mocha and a white chocolate. They were in heaven. My son had a cotton candy sprinkles blue raspberry dip cone. Then my nephew had an Oreo sprinkles vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. Said it was the best dip cone he ever had. There also happened to be the largest bike and skateboard park I have ever seen next door taking up half a city block. I strongly recommend stopping for this experience.
I really enjoyed my chocolate dipped cone and friend really enjoyed their hot fudge caramel sundae. I also enjoyed a bite kr two of the sundae and can recommend it as well. Service was great and friendly. I didnt know what I wanted but I wasn't rushed - I am a known indecisive person. My cone was dipped nicely and I had fun eating it. The ice cream was delicious too.I cannot understand all the negative reviews. I look forward to a future ice cream stop here.
Very very disappointed, I have always ordered banana splits and they always have chocolate pineapple and strawberry sauce. This time it only had chocolate was told only the pikes peak had all the sauces. If that's the case they should really have a description on there menue. In all the years I have went to Nick's this was never the case. I let her know I didn't care for all chocolate and was just ignored. Both items cost the same price so I don't understand why she couldn't add the other sauces. I also ordered two dipped cones. The ice cream was so soft everytime she dipped it the ice cream fell. She dipped it and put it in a cup. The dip was then stuck to the bottom of the cup and no longer on the ice cream. This could be because while she was getting the ice cream from the machine another girl was pouring the cream into the machine at the same time.
We just moved here from Ca and I will say this is going to be our new ice scream spot,l. The workers were all very friendly and did not rush us when we ordered and we are a huge family. 5 stars all the way.
Honestly the product is good but it's WAY to expensive. Dairy queen is cheaper and that's sad. It's seriously $9 for alarge ice cream coffee drink, come on now that's absolutely ridiculous
They rush you when you’re trying to figure out what you want, they never have anything you want on the menu either. You make up your mind and they don’t have it. The crunch coat isn’t fully coated as it use to be, it barely has anything on it as a matter of fact. You pay $5 for a large crunch coat icecream that’s small, barely any icecream with barely any toppings.I could have saved money eating vanilla icecream at home. They also forgot another icecream we had ordered; likely because she kept giggling with someone in the background when we were trying to order via drive thru. Not the same Nick’s Dairy Creme we all once loved. Went to Dairy Queen afterwards and gave the “crunch coat” to my dog.
I have never been so disapointed. I was really excited on this hot day to go get a milkshake. When we got there only one care was waiting and one person at the window. Twenty plus minutes later we were give what I can only describe a flavored milk. Used to be the shakes were thick enough to turn upside down..not any more I will not be ordering those again. Someone needs to tell the workers that milk shakes have icecream in them.
The service was great, server informed me immediately they were out of vanilla soft serve which was not a huge disappointment being I love chocolate. The problem was...It was NOT ice cream!! Soft serve fudgesicle would be a better description. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
Definitely not worth it when I went. The cherry dip was pink and tasted weird and they didn't warn me just gave me nasty dip. I got my son a chocolate dip and that also was just waxy like the chocolate didn't melt you had to chew it for a long time the ice cream wasn't very good and it cost as much as somewhere I know the dip isn't going to be waxy and weird and the ice cream will taste good.
