It was my first experience with Indian food. Flavors are good and the smells are wonderful.Staff is nice and the chia tea is super smooth.
I had a super delicious meal with friends at this restaurant. We arrived at about 6:30 p.m. and ended up staying well past closing talking to the new owners who are from Nepal. Not only are they excellent restaurateurs, they are interesting conversationalist as well. 6 Stars for this extraordinarily good restaurant!
This is the most expensive Indian restaurant I have ever been to, with service not commensurate with said high prices. 25 dollars for a vindaloo. I made an order to pick up, and no one was near the entrance, so I had to hunt down someone who worked there, to then be told that I was allowed to wait in the restaurant's hidden bar for my order to be ready. No one asked my name or what/when I ordered. I waited 10 or more minutes, witnessing two other parties get their carryout orders, all the while being ignored by staff. The kicker is that my food had been prepared and ready for pickup since before I stepped foot in the place. People say to give people a break due to short staffing, yet this has nothing to do with shortage of personnel, just shortage of consideration.
If you are anywhere near Pueblo - this is a "must stop". We enjoyed everything from the chicken Masala and Naan to the chai tea. Portions were so generous you can either share or take home for another meal.
So delicious! We got the aloo gobi and roti, as well as the samosas. They have quite a few vegan options just be sure to let your server know. We got the hot sauce on the side so we could control the spice- very good and spicy
I'm so happy to find this hidden gem in Pueblo. A town known for it's chili has food hotter than it's chili! It reminds me of living in Boulder and the amazing variety of foods. We recommend the Lamb Curry in my house. We ordered it medium and it's perfectly spicy. The lamb is so tender it literally dissolves on your ? tongue. You can order your preferred heat level too. We ordered Garlic Nam to dip the curry in and that was fantastic too. If you like Indian food and even if you never tried... I promise you will experience food organs! Saying yum every bite!!!! Worth every dollar. It may seem pricey but 2 people could easily share one order of lamb curry.
I had and amaizing time. We had a wonderful server and the food was really good. I wanted a nice quiet meel an a romantic atmosphere with good food. My husband my child and I had a wonderful time. I definitely recommend this place for a relaxing meel. Oh and the tea is awesome!
Good, but the lunch buffet could be a lot better. I would recommend that the owners visit Mirch Masala in Colorado Springs and taste and experience their lunch buffet. If you could make your buffet as fresh and high quality as Mirch Masala's, that would be amazing! The buffet price is pretty high, especially for Pueblo. Mirch's lunch buffet is $14 vs $21 here... and Mirch's food and carrot pudding & desserts are generally better than Mr. Tandoori's. Great for Pueblo, but it could be better. The naan bread is wonderful here though. They probably make the best naan bread of all of the places I've visited (Mirch Masala, Shri Ganesh, Little Nepal, etc). Pros and cons, but worth experiencing! Hopefully, they improve. The main course dishes in the buffet also are too salty. If they used less salt, that would help. Remember, we can always add salt if we want it, but we can't remove it. Also, unflavored water is much appreciated. The first time I went there, the water was fruit infused and didn't taste very good. The second time, the water was normal and was much better!
Very disappointed, the lunch buffet finally came back but the price went up to $21 per person and ice tea was $5!! The quality of the food went down no more flavored ice tea or fruit infused water these were the little things that made it nice. The selection of food on buffet also went down. I personally don't think I'll go back at those prices, it's just not worth it. $53 dollars for lunch is just to high for what you get.
Stopped in on a Thursday night. It wasn’t crowded, and we were greeted cheerily and seated quickly. My wife ordered a seafood curry, and I ordered lamb vindaloo, my favorite. While I prefer this dish with plenty of heat as it’s traditionally prepared, I asked for a mild version this time. Our entrees arrived looking picture perfect, and the dishes were delicious. I was so happy to get a taste of the vindaloo I loved so much, and it was perfectly prepared. Between the meal quality and the service, we plan to stop at Mr. Tandoori’s whenever we’re in town!
