Waiter was so prompt we had no idea what to order we had just sat down. While I like white bread to eat with a hot roast beef sandwich. They had none. Didn't set well. The gravy had an extra amount of pepper or something. I was in restroom before we left and several times once home. The prices overall were very reasonable. But I myself am not planning to go back.
After a long trip we decided to stop in Pueblo to eat, Raul our waiter was so helpful quick and on top of our needs which made it so much easier for us to keep our schedule. Boneless Fried chicken a 10 !!
Besides only one dinning room being open and short staffed and 42 minutes to sit. the food was good and plenty. My waitress went above and beyond waitressing to make my experience enjoyable she deserved all the tip I gave her.And all the nostalgic candy bars at the store made me feel like a kid again " a bag full of candy"
Always enjoy the country style meals offered at Cracker Barrel. Especially enjoy the gift shop and the unique items they offer. Wish there were more locations in Southern California.
We decides to stop in for Breakfast while on our road trip. We were coming from WA. We were able to walk in and get seated right away. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive to all of our needs. She was slammed but she held her head high with a big smile on her face and just took care of business. I would go back again. Food was good buy the Customer service was great ?
We loved Cracker Barrel down in Louisiana and Texas, BUT, NOT SO MUCH HERE. Don't care for the new menu. One of my favorites there is the turkey and dressing, but you can only get it one day a week now. What we got tasted more like a TV dinner than fresh. The server brought the lemon for my ice tea but forgot the tea. Then the food came out in a timely manner, that was good, but, we hadn't gotten the appetizer yet. We could have started eating our meals except for the fact that we didn't have any thing to eat with. By the time we could get someone's attention and get some silverware, we were eating not so hot or even warm food. THEN we get the appetizer! It was the new loaded tater tots, it was so - so, But it was hot! I don't know Cracker Barrel, you need to do much better!
Good, very good as always. Sirloin was delicious, lemon trout too. Prices are very competitive and service on time.
We got to our table just fine (hostess wasn't exactly warm feeling but I shrugged it off) then it took awhile for the waitress to come to the table. When she did she just asked "what would you like to drink?" We ordered drinks and waited 10 minutes and during that 10 minutes we watched out waitress refill the whole dining rooms drinks, bring our drinks out and then bring them BACK TO THE KITCHEN! At that point I was so frustrated I left and went to village inn across the street where I got exceptional service and food
Ordered grilled chicken and got burnt chicken. Steak taste like chemicals, Mac and cheese was dry, corn bread was horrible. Worst meal ever. Wish I could give negative stars
So the wait time for a table was right at an hour (I used the time we checked in with the hostess to the time we sat down), which I guess is about right for a Sunday lunch post-church crowd. But once we were seated, our food came out within 15 minutes!Hubby ordered the Cracker Barrel Sampler which was HUGE! He was expecting just a taste of meatloaf, ham, dumplings, Mac and cheese, okra and mashed potatoes with brown gravy, but it was full sized portions of each! Not complaining, they definitely give you your money’s worth. I ordered the fried chicken tenders which comes with two or three sides, I got green beans and mashed potatoes with no gravy. The green beans were so good, tasted like they’re cooked with ham. My little got max and cheese, I sampled it and yes, it’s super tasty. Not made from a box for sure, we’re talking homemade. We received corn muffins and a biscuit, those never disappoint. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. All in all, not bad and I can’t even deduct a star for the wait because we knew there would be a wait. I even bought some road-trip jelly bellies from the shop. Great restaurant and tasty food!
