I have been going to Collette's for years. This is the 3rd time that I walk in and the Male Owner, is very rude. He acts like the people coming into his establishment are bothering him. Yesterday I spent well over $30 , however I walked in today to get a salad and some bread to finish our leftovers from dinner. I asked how much for the bread.....40c each...ok can I please get 4 with my order. "Nope I can only sell you one and really I shouldn't be selling you any as my supply is short."I told him I was willing to pay," Nope not going to do it." I have to save my bread for other customers" (Customers with bigger orders than just a salad!!! Needless to say that I walked out without food. Boy I tell you this owner is the most rude person in Pueblo I have had to deal with and I will no longer give him my business. He even had to balls to tell me that if his other customers came in later and there was no bread because a lady earlier in the day wanted to purchase some, he would feel bad for his other customers. He mentioned that He had to pay a premium price to drive to Safeway to pick up the bread, and I told him that I too paid a premium amount in gas to drive to his establishment to purchase his food. Maybe I didn't spend money on a bigger order today, but in the past 30 years I have spent plenty there and I don't agree that because you have other customers later in the day, you should turn that one person away.He doesn't realize that there are better food places than his in Pueblo. There are plenty places to enjoy better food. I will give my business to the other food establishments here in Pueblo who actually care about the people coming in to support their business.
I asked if there was anything vegetarian and the guy said they could do pasta with no meat. Needless to say the pasta sauce still had meat in it. I know it’s not a big deal to some, but I’ve been vegetarian for many years and was upset to see my pasta had quite a bit of meat in it. UPDATE: they said all of their sauces have meat. That’s okay, but let people know when they tell you they are vegetarian. The woman working said it happens a lot. It would be easier if they let people know all of the sauces have meat in it.
Decent food, great service. Not my favorite place for Italian food, but it's good for a take-out restaurant
This has been one my favorite places to get a quick meal for years. The everything sub with roasted peppers will change your life.
Very unprofessional staff. The young man with a black wrist watch was extremely rude. No one seemed happy at all and attitude all around from the employees. Great food though, don’t know when we will be back..
This has been my place since I was born. I grew up here and the food makes me know I'm home. I whoosh I could get some now. Everytime I come home to Pueblo I come here.
Food is always good, been eating here well over 20yrs and the quality and taste has always been the same. Would definitely recommend.
The employees are all so rude here. Its almost like theyre bothered by helping you. Pasta cottage is much better for both chicken and spaghetti. Also what sandwich shop doesnt do oil and vinegar?? So many places in pueblo with better service and food. Such a shame because it wasnt always like this.
The only regret I have is that I don't live closer to eat here every single day because it is awesome and everybody knows that because they're always Busy and it's WELL worth the wait! THINGS TO TRY....... Phenomenal tuna sandwiches also they have great Capricola and Provolone! If you want something that's always a favorite get mostaccioli and meatballs, or spaghetti meatballs and they have AWESOME SAUSAGE TOO. I've been eating here for years never gets old ALWAYS CONSISTENT!!!!!!!
Food is excellent tasting, reasonably priced for the large portions.staff is always courteous and quick with service. Hands down one of the best local restaurants in Pueblo!
